Should I get the 1080Ti K|NGP|N or FTW3 Elite Gaming Black? 
I would run it at stock speeds.  All I want (i.e., what is most important to me) is reliability.  I do not want to deal with RMAs or inconsistent performance and I don't care about coil whine.  I'm curious as to whether the K|NGP|N will be a more reliable card because it contains a binned chip and is allegedly more heavily tested compared to the FTW3 Elite Gaming Black.
Related insight to these two cards that would help me make a decision is very much appreciated.

    FTW3 Elite Black will get you better performance out-of-box.
     
    Kingpin is the best option for tinkering, LN2 and benchmarks.

    Nothing is guaranteed, at least when it comes to GPU quality(silicon lottery). I had a mediocre Elite black with the honor of 12ghz vram (wow!) and a gpu that can barely touch 1924mhz boost on load.
    Currently I have an asus 1080ti which boost to 2000mhz on its own with a 11ghz vram and performs the same if not better than the evga one.

    CPU: 10900KF, RAM: Corsair DDR4 3600MHz 16GB RAM, GPU: EVGA 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra, PSU: Corsair RM850x, Monitor: Asus PG279Q 1440p GSync, SSD: Samsung EVO 960 nvme

    if you are not going to OC then go with the black card, the price difference to performance at stock is not worth it.

    I've gone threw 3 elites and all it the last one would do 13k overclock on the ram. The one I kept needed a ek block on her to get it well past 13k men clocks.
