Not sure what to make of this upcoming movie but it is produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau and directed by Robert Rodriguez

    Based on famous Japanese series of media of the same name. 
    Battle Angel was one of my favorites in my early days of manga and anime fandom.
    Not sure I like how this looks so far, but I will give it a chance.
    The big "beautiful" anime girl eyes do not really work for me in that trailer.

    James Cameron was also responsible for "Dark Angel". So I'm liking this movie already.       =)

    I assume they're trying to replicate her look from the source material, but yea, it doesn't really translate well, IMO. Anyhoo, here's hoping its better than the first 3/4 of the Ghost in the Shell live action movie.

    Oh, no. Not another terrible live action anime movie. It even has the goofy big anime eyes!
     
    Duck and cover, folks. Incoming huge bomb. Was Ghost In The Shell not enough of a bomb? Guess not......

    Loved Dark Angel and Alba as well.
     
    I watched the trailer on the big screen at home and it bothered me less.
     
    And I do like Robert movies like Desperado and 1st SinCity

    Alba was hot. I'll give you that, but not hot enough to ignore the hilarity of bike messenger after the Apocalypse which was a super soldier that twilights against the man.
     
    The premise of Viper was more legit...
