I have pci-e cablemod cable which contain a 8pin and 6 pin connectors together. Now the side of powerlink have 2x 8pin slots, so does it matter with connectors order? Shall I plug the 8pin at first slot and 6pin at second, or the order doesn't matter?

Yea it comes with a 6pin for the card side if runing a 6+8 pin card.. but on the power supply side you'll need 2 8pins.

Do you have an old power supply?

Yeah, I do. I have some 6+2pin pci-e cable. But I would like to use cablemod cable which I just ordered have only 6+8pin on it.
