Recently my PC has been making this rattling sound and I narrowed it down to one of the fans on my GPU so I tried tightening up the screws for the fan and it stopped for a day and then started happening again the next day. It's getting really annoying and only happens when the fan is spinning at around 10-20% and it gets really loud while I'm watching movies/shows but doesn't happen when I increase the fan speed past 50%. I was wondering if there was a way to get a fan replacement besides sending it in or should I just try and grease up the fan so it stops rattling.

You'll receive a new card if you rma within the first 30 days. RMA past the first 30 days and you'll receive a recertified card.

    My solution to the problem...

    #1 Ask evga for a cross-ship rma.
#2 Swap the coolers when the other card arrives.
#3 Send the rma card back with your cooler on it.

Sajin you are a genius! May you post a link step by step if you know any EVGA released "how to remove the cooler"? The ftw3 is a bit different in design. My ftw 3 has the same issue

Thanks for the response guys. I probably won't RMA just because I was gonna install a waterblock on it around Jan and I was looking for a temp fix. I guess I'll just have to deal with the noise for now

EVGA doesn't have any videos of removing the FTW3 cooler. You can watch this teardown video to figure it out.

Leaving it will be a mess when it comes time to sell The card later on.. ask evga and see if they can just send you a replacement cooler if not just a fan.
