Hi all, I was thinking of getting a Hybrid Waterblock Cooler by EVGA like this . However, I have a GTX1080 AMP! from Zotac and was wondering if this could fit on mine? If it helps  and . I tried finding the cooler the 1080 hybrid but I don't think it's sold anymore here in Australia.

The reason I'm doing this is because one of my fans broke (the one on GPU side) and it's getting really pretty hot down under and my GPU was throttling quite heavily under normal rendering load that I had this afternoon.

Any help is appreciated!

I have no idea if it will fit (probably not!), but I do know that it would void your Zotac warranty.

Have you tried to get a repair or replacement from Zotac under warranty?

I doubt it as it's a custom card much larger then a standard founders edition.. I did own one way back.. was the first of many 1080s I owned.

Was fine by its self but once I added another for sli they cooked each other. Exchanged for blower style 1080s and then exchanged over and over till I landed on classifies that I could use an old ek 780 classified watch block that would fit it.

Yeah I would attempt to get a hold of zotac to see if they can either sell you a replacement fan or repair/replace it.

That or sell for parts and buy a 1080ti.

Sadly Zotac doesn't do international warranty (I think) and I bought it from Amazon back during the first few months that 1080 launched - there was just no stock at all in Australia and when there was any, it was ridiculously marked up :/.

I wanted to get an EVGA card because of the international warranty but there was no stock everywhere too sadly.

This card isn't really a winner either, came with the RGB LED controller not working and the furthest I can push it is 1960MHz
