which 1080ti would you get if you had the choice plain ftw 3 gaming colored elite ftw 3 gaming new elite with faster memory looking for any inputs you guys have. the colored cards really temp me but at 815 after shipping its tempting just to spend the 852 for the elite on new egg. also the new elite cards with faster memory are only coming in black and white correct? thanks in advance

Maybe I missed something, but is it just factory overclocked memory?

It is new memory modules rated at 12ghz which you can oc on top of their rated value just like you would do with the regular 11ghz rated memory..

The cards with faster memory seem to be the same price as the Hybrid. I'd go with that.

Out of those three options... New elite with faster memory would be my choice.

Biggest question for me if the new elite have any oc room left or if the new memory moduals are close to maxed out as plenty of people get pretty close to 12ghz on the old 11ghz moduals but I am not in a super hurry so may wait a little bit for some people to report back

For what it's worth there is some online vendors that are having sales on the plain FTW3 (11ghz memory), perhaps the better option is to go with one of these and oc the memory...

When choosing a GPU it helps to know what you want to do and your supporting environment (such as system setup and your monitor). Of the three models you mentioned the new elite would be my choice provided your system can handle it.

+1 A Cooler GPU is a faster GPU, thanks to Nvidia Boost 3.0 Because the air cooled versions will need more airflow - more & faster running case fans - the Hybrid is also a quieter option in the total build

in the case of all there cards the system requirement would be the exact same no? As all are same size same max wattage pull. So my system not handling one would veto them all
