I have put together my computer a few weeks ago and just yesterday while in the middle of using it, the computer turned completely off and would not turn back on. When I tried to turn it back on I would hear a few clicks and then nothing else would happen. It was all working fine just until then, if I could get some help that would great.

Try reseating all your power cables. If no dice try a different psu.

So I took the psu out and unplugged everything but the cpu and motherboard and it turned on just fine, but when I plugged back in the sata cables and the graphics card it stopped working again. Does this mean I might need a better psu?

    List PC Details

Maybe you have a ground or other issue.  Make sure no additional standoffs are under the MB & the I/O plate is not inside any of the ports

It could mean the psu isn't putting on the proper voltage.

So all the parts were put into pcpartpicker: pcpartpicker.com/list/TwKrQZ and it seems that I have more than enough to power it, but I don’t get it. Everything works completely fine without the VGA cable in, it’s just my graphics card doesn’t get recognized, the light turns on so I know it’s not burned out or anything. But when it is plugged in the computer just won’t turn on

Its very possible the gpu is causing the whole problem. To confirm try running the graphics card in another known good working pc.
