Unfortunately it is still hard crashing for me with a random color screen. The latest version that works perfectly for me is 6.1.11. I tried everything under the sun, just wonder what changed from 6.1.11 to 6.1.12 to cause that. I don't mind using an older version just out of ideas to troubleshoot the issue. Cheers!

Question not related to the latest 6.1.16 but how much longer will we have access to 6.0.0 to 6.0.9? What will eventually happen to them?

Not likely to see support for 5 graphics cards as this is not a supported configuration.

Looks like the Fan graph/selectors are not accurately showing how fast the power fan is spinning visually using the up/down fan setter/selector compared to GPU fan on my 1080 ti SC2. The power selector/setter is just moving with the gpu fan selector/setter. This was not a problem on previous version and I have them Async (unlinked). if you click to show the actual RPM the power fan is going at, it seems what it should be at on the textual display, but this is not being properly represented visually via the up/down selector.

With this update my OC profile for a 1080 FTW2 won't automatically apply on start-up anymore. It never does in the flow control software for my CLC 280 either

EVGA_JacobF www.evga.com/precision • Fix LED issue on 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID • Make OC Scanner Manual Mode VF Curve Smooth • Various Other Bugfixes
Thanks for the update Jacob, EVGA. Runs fine so far with a fresh install on Windows 7. However I did run into a few new oddities, I'll describe them below: - Changing screenshot saving location tends to be problematic, causing first screenshot save to fail and no longer work after.
When I change the default directory to B:\fraps or B:\fraps\screenshots, it will attempt to save the screenshot the first time (the game freezes for a moment to know it tries), but it doesn't save any screenshot file. I don't know whether fraps folder is being detected/filtered, other locations appear to work fine. - Disabling OSD in games can cause some games to crash.
Whenever the OSD is hooked into certain games, for example GTA V or FlatOut 4, and then is being disabled after, it crashes the games. It might be that Precision XOC is attempting to remove the OSD-hook from the games, but not all games or applications in general like this behaviour. An example is Dxtory, where there is a setting to keep a permanent hook active even when the application itself (Dxtory) is closed, to prevent games from crashing, though the overlay is no longer invisible. This may be an improvement to implement on Precision XOC if not present. - Fan sliders do not properly represent fan tachometer RPM speed.
As reported above me by @kbajaj10, the fan sliders do not properly represent the fan tachometer RPM speed, the fan sliders seem to increase and decrease equally, though fan RPM may be much higher on Power fan for example. If you then put power fan back to manual mode you'll also see it decrease fan RPM speed to what the slider really represents at that time. Here is a video to make it clear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXm-sBx1kCI See how the fan RPM speeds differ from eachother even though the fan sliders show the same speed, the same fan curve is used for every fan. Not fixed yet:- Breathing mode for backplate LED 1080Ti FTW3.
- Precision XOC crash when closing hardware monitor after fan speeds are changed.
- PNG screenshot capture is broken. (more info see https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2705146 )
Hope I have informed you enough again.

Try doing a complete clean install of Precision XOC if you didn't try yet, remove any leftover files left after uninstallation.

Same exact issue... 6.1.11 is the last version that didn't crash when setting a custom VF curve. I'd like to undervolt my 1080 Ti FTW3 and when I attempt to do this with 6.1.16, the voltage points create a straight line at the top of the graph.. I went to use the snipping tool to show this happening and my monitor went to black. Had to press the reset button to get it working. I reported this issue a few weeks back, an EVGA tech said he tested what I described and didn't run into the issue. If anyone is willing to try undervolting their card to see if this can be duplicated, I'd really appreciate it.

There must be something that changed in versions 6.1.12 and up. I recall 6.1.12 specifically being pulled because it was either crashing or causing systems to crash. I'm still running into issues with the latest and I know I'm not the only one. Maybe someone over at EVGA can take a look at what changed from 6.1.11 (last known version that I'm able to undervolt with).

Automatic fan control no longer controls fans independently on the 1080Ti FTW3 in 6.1.16. All sliders move in unison, regardless of temperature differences on GPU/Power/Memory. Rolling back to 6.1.15 corrects the issue.

This version giving me BSOD: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER, happens as soon as I open it. Infinite bootloop BSODs to the point that my windows had corrupted somewhere due to SSD's in raid0 max performance mode (cache corrupted). Terrible that your software is causing this and last few releases have been junk.

On the main interface of PXOC, isn't there a button/pic of a chain link where you can select to "Link or Unlink" the fans to run together or independently?

As seen on the video I posted this happens with chains unlinked. It's only a visual problem though, because behind the scenes the fan RPM's do differ from eachother and follow the actual curve, it's just that the sliders do not properly represent the RPM speed.

Having a similar display lockup issue as i have read in some of the other comments. Seems to happen after applying the changes to OC settings. displays will freeze, sometimes change to a solid color, reset (if they manage to get that far) and then everything comes back up. System Build: "https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q6JDYr" using nvidia surround - 5760x1080 resolution At first I was not getting past the solid color issue. Windows would boot back up after a power button restart and i would get about 30-60 seconds of time to do something before it locked up again. Ended up having to go into safe mode, uninstalling the nvidia drivers. afterwards i could restart normally, precision would not detect hardware, and would not freeze my machine. From this point i was able to uninstall it. Also would like to note that there is a precision.cfg file that is not deleted when you uninstall. Found it after several attempts to reinstall the software after removing the folder and having the same issue immediately happen. Removed the file and was able to load and view the UI for precision. Started to change OC settings again one at a time, hit apply, there would be a few moments of display locking, reset, and then displaying fine again. I thought: "Great! I can work with this". Made a new profile. Hit apply...total screen lock again this morning at 2AM. Shut it down and went to sleep. Ill let you know if I have any success. Anyone else having this kind of issue? Is there a more stable release that is not overriding the nvidia drivers for display settings when you OC the GPU?

Sounds like you overclock settings may be too high. What clocks are you trying to run? Post the actual MHz you're trying to run instead of the offsets.

Hey Sajin, So the actual values i was getting before using Heaven was gpu clock: 195X (+400 offset) and mem clock: 550X (+60? offset) which is right about where i wanted it to get to. I also bench marked with 3DMark but i do not remember the score or have the link. On this iteration of testing and adjusting I thought i was unstable so i went for 1859/5500 respectively. In both cases I pushed the power adjustment to max of 117%. -Scorch
