Hi there ! I am using EVGA precision XOC with my gtx 1080 ftw2. Since I use it, the card is auto overclocked(at 2000 Mhz) in some games like Fortnite. Is that normal ? How can I take MANUAL control on this software ? Thanks for them who gave an answer :)

It isn’t precision doing that, it is gpu boost 3.0 doing that and precision is just displaying the results.

Yes, its Normal Because Nvidia Boost 3.0 will override any settings based on temp and power demand to allow the GPU to clock as high as possible if their is enough load Looks like you got a very good card and won the silicon lotters 2000 MHz with no OC added GeForce GTX 1080 Overclocking Guide This review uses a different OC software, but the concepts are the same --- full of some good basics about Nvidia Boost 3.0 also

Mm maybe the fact that i use all the 16 pins (2*8) for power supply so the card can boost more. It isn't dangerous ? (I don't think because i believe in Nvidia/EVGA/corsair stuff)

Not dangerous at all. Every video card does it these days.

Using all 16 pins is required for that card to functional at all. It is not dangerous for the card in any way and it is how it is intended to run. The additional power of the 16 pins is only made available if you increase the Power Target slider in Precision XOC. Even then the card will not use more power, it just has more headroom to use power if the load requires it. As others have already stated, 2000 Mhz with no additional OC offset applied, is pretty good, that card may go higher with manual overclocking.

Helpful recommendation - incoming Do Not set your OC software to load at boot, while your experimenting. You do not want to Auto load the setting that just crashed your system - right
