Looking to get a Supernova 1200 P2 and a set of sleeved cables. Looks like I can't post a link to them because I'm new but its the set titled: 1000-1300 G2/G3/P2/T2 Green Power Supply Cable Set  P/N:100-G2-13GG-B9 
 
After reading a horror story about a guy that fried 3 motherboards using cables meant as extensions and not to go directly into the power supply, I was hoping for some confirmation before I pulled the trigger.

    Correct, The EVGA Cables Sets are NOT Extensions.

    bcavnaugh is correct; these cables are replacements for the sleeved cables that came with your power supply and not extensions.
