So, I had three internet explorer tabs opened. They were all together. I was on tab 3, then I clicked on top of the first tab to look at that page. When I was done, I clicked on that 3rd tab over, and it disconnected itself from the other two tabs, and went solo. There are only two boxes in the task bar below too. When I hover over the task bar it does show the three pages. Very weird.

Have you noticed that there are three tabs?  First tab automatically opens when you open IE.  Second tab is a new one and third tab is Edge.  They are really trying to force the issue...

Sounds like you did a drag and drop to separate the tabs. When you grab the tab with a left click, and drag it and drop it to an open screen, it will do that. It sounds like it may have lagged for a second and that is what happened, possibly?

Yep, they seem to repeat this from one of the Wonderful Windows Updates.
I have to reset at lest once a month from this Update.

I still like Win 10. Just something weird will happen every so often. Long as it doesn't break my PC, I'm ok.      =)

I remember the people that said the same about 7 and xp and the ones that said the same about 98. 7 was good but time moves on.

So your saying I could have accidentally dragged and dropped something without even knowing it? Is that possible?

Yep, if you grab the tab in a browser and move your mouse  ^up  or V down even just a fraction , it detaches from the browser into a totally separate new browser window of it's own....

Maybe the mouse sensor freaked out a bit and jumped right when you clicked.

That was not really a big change for the most at least when our company changed over, only a few Eng. Apps flailed 2 that I can recall.
Going from Windows 7 to Windows 10 will be a nightmare for you or at least your IT Department.
But this might be off Topic.
