Hello everyone!

I was installing the EVGA hybrid on my
Evga 1080Ti FE and towards the end I noticed that one resistor was lose. And basically fell off when I was inspecting it! :-(

Since it is part of the mosfet I'm sure it's super important. Any recommendations on what I should do? Does evga offer repairs? I have some technical skills on skoldering but I've never soldered anything this small.

Attaching picture! 😭😭

Welcome to the Forum manuel_ubau
Bummber, but best to allow EVGA to look at the Card and give you your options.
You are better off creating a Support Ticket to request an RMA

How large is the part that fell off? I had that happen once to me as well on an old XFX gts 250 card. The resistor was large enough for a soldering iron, so I just put it back on. I wonder if that would go against the warranty, since it's not exactly tampering...

Hello manuel_ubau and welcome to the Forums!

I do see that you contacted us directly and we are going to have the card inspected. I did want to note that it is not recommended that you attempt any self-repairs with a soldering iron. This would VOID the warranty as indicated on our warranty page:

"..usage of solder to the PCB, electronics and/or component modification."

If you have this happen to you it is best to consult EVGA directly so we can assess the best options for you.

We understand this. When my stepup comes through I'll be missing my GTX 1080ti for a few days.
