I have an old computer that we use now and again for old games, I have had it Since 2008
Its a 790i Ultra EVGA MOBO with a Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9300 6M Cache, 2.50 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB
And four sticks of 2 GB 1333 Mhz (8GB RAM) + SSD
Its Currently sporting a 8800 GTX on which i play old total war titles on LAN with my son and the gaming laptop.(Shogun 2)
Now we want to play Warhammer Total War but its a little out of spec for this computer.
There is no point in upgrading anything else as being an old system it could just crap out at any time.
I did read from a benchmark that someone is using the board with a 1050 Ti 4GB which would be an ideal upgrade for this system and the cost is low and if the system breaks you haven't really lost out to much. It would also upspec enough for TWWH
So on the User benchmark site a guy by the name of hongkong user seems to have got it up and running

But as you can see from the picture his BIOS update is much newer than the board, on the EVGA website the Latest BIOS update is from 2009 and not 2014
1. Is this a fake benchmark ?
2. Where can i get this BIOS update so i can upgrade a 10 year old system with a relatively cheap 4GB video card and squeeze a few more years out of it ?
PS I live in south africa and its hard to try and track down older cards like a 660 TI etc otherwise i would look
