considering the increase in popularity of AMD, maybe. but historically, no.

I just bought my second ASUS motherboard in a row wishing it was an EVGA. This time I needed AM4 (5900x) and last time it was X79, I needed MATX and EVGA didn't make one, Asus did. Heartbreaking really. I've been keeping mobos for ages and seems something always comes up with EVGA around the time I need a mobo that prevents it from being an EVGA. I've had nothing but EVGA video cards going back to at least 2004? Well, other than Quadros, EVGA doesn't make those. I've gotten every or every other GeForce generation going back to the 256 and I can't recall any GeForce cards that were anything but EVGA going back to probably at least the 6800 in 2004, probably before then? I'd guess something like a GeForce3 was my first EVGA, my memory is too blurry, I probably still have whatever my first evga card was in storage, 1000 miles away, it'd be real interesting to get into that box of old cards, haven't seen that in over 10 years, I REALLY need to organize that storage! I think my 256 was an ELSA (From the "Where are they now" dept.)

I have two EVGA power supplies, 1200 P3 and 750 G3 and an EVGA CLC. My preferred brand for sure!

I am heartbroken and deeply sad they can't seem to make a motherboard for my needs, at least at the times I need to buy. My last EVGA mobo was a nForce 680i back in 2007, acording to my "My Products" list.

But no, I don't expect EVGA to ever make an AMD motherboard again, at least until Intel has let AMD kick their ass for several more major product cycles. If no gamers/enthusiasts are buying Intel for years on end they might reconsider. While Intel is mostly ahead on the high end and every decade or so AMD takes the crown for a year or two? I don't see it changing. Let's check back here in a few years and see how AM5 is comparing to Intel's latest once they finally get their sub 14/10nm parts shipping. Not... Holding... My... Breath... I'm too busy swallowing my tears.

finally  , - wow its been forever.

I expect to see pigs sailing past my 17th story windows any moment now. I was sure if EVGA made an AMD board it would not be until after AM4. This will be really interesting!!!! 

I need four memory slots, so the Dark is not really my bag, but I am really keen to see a FTW version with max RAM capacity, more PCIe slots. In my dream world it would have Thunderbolt4/USB4, but while I think that's too much to dream of, I thought ANY EVGA AM4 board was an impossibility just a few weeks ago too.
