This is my first SLI in my life and I can't decide which model to take for SLI. Cards will be with water blocks from EK. Is it worth to take FTW with better power section? Can ASIC in FTW be worse than ASIC in FE? Does FE have any limitations in the BIOS?

FTW could clock higher due to the 2nd bios having a 130% power target.
I think the Default max limit is 120%, at least the 1080ftw2 has that.
EVGA doesn't bin the chips so there's no guarantee on the ASIC score. I also read other threads about Pascal chips that said ASIC isn't really a good metric for them.

ASIC no longer is visible, so you'll never truly know if it is "worse".

Yes, the FTW could be a worse overclocker. The silicon lottery still applies.

If not higher at least maintain a nice OC without throttling. I get 2063-2088MHz but its riding that 120% limit and throttling :(

If past performance is true for the ti, Nvidia reserved their best cards for the FEs. So you'll have a better shot at winning the silicon lottery with the FE.
