Hello first time poster being my first problem with a EVGA product.
I have just upgraded to a GTX 1080FTW.
Just upgraded from 2 EVGA 980SC
fresh OS install with updates, latest Nvidia drivers.
my problem is I seem to be unstable at the out of the box settings on both BIOS modes.
I'm getting a little light flash on the first test of 3DMark, Farcry 4 rolls and flickers in spots as well as textures will flicker black then back to normal depending on angle aswell as a random purple boarder sometimes appears when looking at the right spot.
In Skyrim and Witcher 2 there is bad distance loading and sometimes characters don't load and they just appear as well as shadow flickers or freaking out.

here is a video of FarCry sorry that its on my phone. I did one with shadow play but once I up loaded the video the flickering went away.
My system is
i7-7700k clocked to 4.4
Aours z270x gaming 9 motherboard
64gb Corsair led ram 3000mhz
EVGA GTX 1080FTW stock as a rock
EVGA 1200w P2 supernova power supply unit

thank you for your time

Reseat the card, if that does not do it, reinstall the drivers after removing then with DDU. If that does not do it, underclock the cards. If that does it or not, I would RMA with the vendor for a new card.

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
    Mobo - EVGA X570 FTW
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
    RAM - 32GB Trident Z Royal 3600MHz 14-14-14-34
GPU - EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming
    PSU - Seasonic Prime TX-1000
Heatkiller IV CPU Waterblock / Heatkiller V GPU Waterblock
Heatkiller V EBC Active Backplate / Two Heatkiller Rad 360 L
    Six Noctua NF-A12x25 / Heatkiller D5 Pump

Definitely try underclocking the card fully on both the core & memory using msi afterburner to see if it helps fix the issue.
