I bought my GTX 1080 FTW DT from Jet.com a couple of weeks ago. The box it came in was a newegg box. Jet.com typically drop ships from other retailers. Since it was (technically) from newegg does it qualify as an Authorized Reseller?

Reason I ask is I'm suffering from some coil whine (all of a sudden) and was wondering what my RMA situation might look like.

Thanks for the help!

PS this is my first EVGA card.

I got my GTX 1080 FTW DT from Jet.com too, and registered my product fine with EVGA. Since it has a transferrable warranty the process works all the same, I was able to get a cross-ship RMA for my GPU approved and should be getting a replacement shipped out soon as I paid the collateral. BTW I'm also experiencing some rather heavy coil whine too, especially on Unigine Heaven 4.0. Another reason I sold my STRIX, which I also got from Jet, is that they don't allow RMAs from there so you're pretty much buying the GPU as is, even if it is new. Kinda sketchy if you're paying upwards of $680.

Hello and welcome to the forums brycebedwell! Purchased facilitated through Jet.com are fine. Like any other invoice, as long as your Jet.com invoice indicates the correct place of purchase, such as in your case Newegg.com, and it matches where we shipped the product to, you'll count as the original owner.

    Just wanted to update this.

If you order from Jet.com and they order from newegg, you can retrieve your invoice from secure.newegg.com/Guest/OrderLogin.aspx and just put in the order number on the Jet.com invoice and your zip code, then you can print off the invoice.

Didn't work for me. Order # from Jet.com was too long.
