Replacing GT 220, that has developed a noisy fan, in a relatives older Dell Insprion 580 -- looking for best bang for the buck
This PC is for basic internet and card games, with occasional TV viewing/ streaming ----using a 1080P LCD display
Has anyone tried the 730 series in this type of Dell ? What were your results ?
Looking at:
EVGA GeForce GT 730 DirectX 12 (feature level 11_0) 02G-P3-3733-KR 2GB 64-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 Low Profile Ready Video Card
This appears to be a 25- 50 watt card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487052 I know that a 600 series should work with older BIOS system, looking for 700 series input from the form members.
Thanks in advance for your helpful feedback!
