Nice, I'll be updating this sometime soon, I've created a few more teams during the WCG challenge, too....

Re:Project lists 2012/01/13 20:49:40 (permalink)
Updated, turned it into just a list of projects instead of projects and members participating in them....  Added a few projects since the last update....  Would links for each project to the websites for them be of any benefit?

I'm once again Platoon Sergeant for my unit so the random updates and posts while at work won't be as frequent, although there hasn't been many from me in awhile, between no school and the holidays, I decided to be lazy for awhile....  Classes start up again in the next few days and I'm starting to get into the classes where I'll actually have to read the books and study somewhat but I don't see it taking much more of my time than they have in the past, so....

We need to update this, and have it include the projects that BOINC does not track...

I have a BR for whomever does it, and I will edit the first post if the person who does it is not the OP...

It might take me a bit to get it going, but I'll have it done today....

It's been hectic with school and getting ready for this move and family visiting and work and everything....

If someone beats me to it, they beat me to it....

Not sure how well this will show, but I've been working on a list that would probably be better on a webpage somewhere, and the DC-Vault points are out of date now.

EDIT: Sorry, probably too small for most people to read.

Re:Project lists 2013/02/05 19:50:39 (permalink)
Nice.... I have something planned that'll take a bit of work and I don't see time to work on it until late may.... Much like the sig format site I posted about, the user will enter their cpid if they want to take part and it'll pull their boinc stats.... That's the easy part.... I want to expand it to also show their nonboinc stats as well, possibly give more than a 2 day history, 7 days or so, possibly overtake info, possibly have notifications on challenges and vault plundering projects, etc....

Boinc will be easy because it's all in one place and follows a format.... The others I still have some research to do....

updated partially again.  Added WUProp to the list....  Eventually I'll be adding more projects to my personal list so they'll be added here as well.

I was hoping I could get someone to add our team to SubsetSum@home project. Tried to search for the team when I joined this project and could not find us. Don't see that project on the list at Free-DC for projects our team is doing. Thanks in advance.

Thanks RHMash. Figured it was a project we hadn't worked on yet and figured..... why not.

Re:Project lists 2013/03/20 07:47:03 (permalink)
updated the list.  Added some projects I've been adding over the last 2-3 weeks....  It's a hassle to navigate the stat sites to find me just to get the links for the projects, maybe I'll get around to modifying the project lists file that comes with boinc to show all of these projects that aren't listed and move the projects we have teams in to the top of the list displayed.

Some notes, YAFU has only given me multithreaded tasks.  Donate@Home is a gpu project, didn't do much research into it, but it seems they don't have constant work.  My first sudoku task said it would take 6+ hours but didn't take more than an hour....  SLinCA has an issue with alot of Windows machines and errors and they don't seem to be trying to fix it.  Skimming the forums, it seems the admin of the project has no issues with his/her Windows machine so it's not the project with issues they should be looking into.  ibercivis has medical tasks as well as prime number tasks....  Volpex, forgot about volpex, I have to look into it more....

Any one know of a project listing that shows which projects award badges? I'm still on the fence over the whole badge thing but my friend whom I'm trying to get into crunching was asking about them.
