RoHS, also known as Lead-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and

    All electronic goods imported into the EU must meet this standard or in other words "no lead".

    Unfortunate really, Tin/Lead lasts way longer than RoHS. Not saying RoHS is bad or anything, just pointing out what I know.

    Hey guys, quick question! Is getting a REACH certificate and RoHS certification for electronics necessary? I know RoHS handles hazardous substances, but is REACH something we gotta worry about too? Let me know!
