Do you guys think that 4x 3090s will be okay with 2x 1000 PSUs?

I've had my 1000W EVGA PSU for a few years now... any concern with age or am I good to use on my new 5950x / 6800XT build?

I mean it depends what you're doing with them. pcpartpicker has a good tool to check how much wattage your machine is pulling based on individual parts....

I’ve got a 2070s , and a 3900x severely OC’d and am running on an 850 psu, I just can’t get my head around the math to get to the 1000w I don’t see a need ... I could be way off but even with massive transient spikes 850 should be. Ok ?

So I bought a 700W PSU a few months back, but the EVGA calculator saying that 750W is recommended. Is it gonna be a big difference to use for 70ti,80, and 80ti??

does the new 3070 use up more psu power than 1070. Trying to figure out if I need more than 650watts.

I'm thinking that 1000 is a little much. Maybe I'm wrong. Is there such a thing of having too much wattage? I guess I'm trying to find that 'sweet spot' of having enough but not too much.

have to make sure it's made for the country. I'm sure that plug country type is listed. Would be nice if all plugs were universal across the world.

Ok am guessing that is a no because there is not a region change for united kingdom, i switched region to europe earlier and it had the EU plug in the pictures. That is a shame i will need to buy psu on amazon

When ordering on the EU site - you should get a compatible PSU you can't order on the North America site for Europe

Not bad. Some bad online PSU calcs would recommend more. I put a 500 watt unit in one the builds I did (9700k/3070/2 ssd's), and that EVGA calculator recommended 500-550. Technically I could have gotten away with a decent 450 watt unit, but I wouldn't recommend it due to other variables so 500 is pretty spot on IMO.

Nonimportantuser Seeing the reduced price of this makes me wonder something. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0797HL9Z4?tag=teamevga-20 How good of a PSU in terms of quality is this? Reduced in price from 140 USD to 100 USD.
If you can afford it, go with the P (Platinum) series. I've used 650P in all my computers for over 5 years, so far no issues. I'm not sure about the Gold series. You also want to with more than just the minimum requirements. Mine suggested 500w but I went with 650w.

I always put more than what's recommended ... not overboard though. I was recommended for 450-500w but I put in a 650w. When I eventually get a 3070 (hopefully before I turn 60), I'm going to put in a 850w .. supposedly some of the rtx cards use up more wattage. better to have a little more than for the computer to die.

Well versed on how to select a PSU, only really wanted confirmation that this is a good quality PSU given its current price, and got confirmation of its good quality from other sources. Currently using a RM 650w PSU. Eyeing a 3070 ti this week, doing so would would require a PSU upgrade to a 750 w PSU so that is why I asked. Depending on if/when I snag a 3070 ti, could get this one as soon as this week.

Is there a shortage on the power supplies? I was looking for a 850w P2. EVGA has none. Newegg only has third party sales. Amazon only has them used.

I've had my 650w in two different computers for over 5 years. Still good. Only reason I'm getting a different psu is because these new gpus need better psu's. (if you get that). I have a 650w and i think it's not enough for the 3070ti I want. ... EVGA makes very good power supplies.
