Hey dear community,
Can you maybe do me a big favor and show me your fan curve of your GTX 1080TI (Screenshot)?

Background:
A fan of my "EVGA FTW3" twitches in the IDLE always a bit rumge although it is cold enough and the fan should actually stand still.
According to EVGA, this is normal and does not damage either fan or electronics. Still, I'd like the fans to be minimally active in IDLE.
Perhaps those who have set a manual fan curve could show me this. Have never had anything to do with it and would like to take a look at some examples. Would be very grateful. How does the default curve look? There I would simply raise the curve slightly.

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X MB: Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming RAM: 16GB (2x 8192MB) Corsair Vengeance LPX LP DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16-18-18-36 NT: 500 Watt be quiet! Pure Power 10 CM Modular 80+ Silver SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080TI FTW3 Monitor: Asus MG278Q 27" WQHD OS: Win 10 Home 64bit

If you switch to the slave bios only the gpu fan will spinning at idle, if the card gets load it will automaticlly adjust the fan speed. You can set a costum fan curve where you can set when the temps are low the fans will spin much less. Its all up to you what you prefer. I have 3 profiles saved, a default slave bios profile, an agressive, and a costum. If the temperature, wheather is high inside the room or outside i use agressive or costum fan curve.
    Something like this.

    Curve> Fan> Select Preset> Custom/ Aggressive/ Quiet

Maybe take it upon yourself to adjust the curve to your wants/ needs? OR set the BIOS switch to Slave and adjust from there?

    AdamInk said it all.
To run the original fan curve, just close PXOC / MSI AB.
Or, you can just reset the presets on the programs to exclude the custom fan curve.

I think this is a misunderstanding. I just need a screenshot of the original fan curve. Not from the aggressive or quiet.

    1) As mentioned above " turn OFF the Custom fan curve" and you have the default fan speeds

    2) Master switch position is for the "quietest" fan ---> Slave position is more aggressive settings and fan runs faster at low GPU demand

Afterburner only shows a fan curve if you are using a CUSTOM fan curve that is set in Afterburner itself.

In other words, what you are asking for does not exist.

Evga has developed the graphics card. They must have the information.

They do have the information. The way you setup a curve inside the vbios is different than how you setup a curve inside precision/afterburner.
