Good, because after Bored provoked me into modding and finally trying to finish FO3, I'm at Shock Value under Broken Steel. It's only taken me 6 years to get to this point and then I have New Vegas to play still. Wonder if I'll live that long

Sigh there is no speculation one more is coming its coming, the speculation is when.... if you think its going to just magically appear soon your an idiot... they will have a huge advertising campaign for it.... huge its one of their bread and butter games... it will be in Boston, a I would like to see it here or there, is a speculation, Bethesda staff in Boston mass, playing camera totting tourist is not speculation... sigh.... they will have to make this fallout since it will be done 100% by Bethesda this time unlike NV, the most epic, biggest fallout yet... next gen consoles are here if you really want to call them that with slight hardware upgrades, soooo we might get DX11 this go around unless they pull a skyrim on us and rip those features out of the gamebryo engine they used.... Gamebryo is on light-speed now.... yes that's what the latest ver is called... if you know anything about Bethesda, they like to drive their fans nuts look what they did with fallout 3... gave a preview sneak peak then what 3-5 years later finally Fallout 3... I would expect about the same thing with Fallout 4... esp with its new production pipeline. Dont believe little sites... when they are ready to say its coming, they will let us know, because they want us foaming at the mouth screaming take my money lots of money.... they are going to be able to charge 60 bucks for the game easy.... and many fallout fans will glady pay it, I am already expecting to pay 200 plus at the worst if not more for the collectors whatever they call it edition...

I just hope it's somewhat soon. I was waiting so patiently for another Half Life game and now, I no longer care. Gordan Freeman has died of old age by now. Fallout was a great series but if they are going to strike while the iron is hot, they had better do it soon.

Why can't we do both?

Fallout 4 is the new Half Life 3.  Bethesda is sitting on a gold mine, but if they sit on it for too long then it will lose its value and appeal like HL3 did.

HL3 hasn't lost appeal yet, we are still waiting for it, though it better not be another Duke Nukem Forever

It hasn't lost all its value or appeal, but some.  People would have been most interested in it if it released in 2009-2011 or so.
