whiskers54 Hey Ducky, Any problems with that mod that expands the building areas of the settlements? I haven't installed it yet due to the release of the DLC's and patches.
I haven't played since the new DLC dropped. But I can speak of older mods like Far Harbor and such. If you are referring to the mod that expands the budget of the settlements, I haven't seen any ill effects. If you are referring to the mod that increases the physical build area, then DLC's will have no effect on that mod. BUT, that mod is settlement exclusive and only expands the settlements that the author edited. There is another mod that also expands settlement borders, but sadly, neither mod is being supported any longer.
It's the one you sent me a link to.

You have to mod the sights on the Rocket Launcher to add the auto-lock sights. My Legendary effect is 50% more damage to Humans. My other Legendary Rocket Launcher causes more damage to Mutants.

Awesome!!!! When I have some free time I know what I'll be doing. May even try that on that overfilled hot air balloon parked at the airport just to see what happens.

I made it over to the Vault, saved the overseer and agreed to start the tests. I looked at that diagram of the Vault and have to say that it shows the place as a large structure. And the scrap that is all over the place. It's going to take awhile to clean the place up. This is going to be interesting.

Zuhl3156 Oh, it's big in there!
The words big, huge do not describe it's true size. None of the settlements even come close. There is so much scrap to be scrapped. It will take some time to go through all of it.

I assume your talking about the new DLC and not something else. I've not ambled over there yet. Been busy rehabilitating Spectacle Island. I think I am going to be moving Duk HQ from Sanctuary to there.

"I assume your talking about the new DLC and not something else. You may want to hold off on that move until you see the Vault. This, to me, is a lot bigger than Spectacle Island and will require a lot of resources to do some serious building. And you have to use mods on the settlements to increase their size where (I'm guessing but) the Vault you don't. As I said, this place is H U G E!!!!

Plenty of junk to scrap in that Vault area. Uranium deposits galore. Train cars, RR tracks and useless containers too. Did I mention the Mole Rats? I already have a dozen turrets to keep the Mole Rat population down.

Uranium deposits???? Is this code for nuclear material? I have to get in there tonight and do some more snooping.

Wow this thing is huge. I scrapped the Uranium (aka: Nuclear material) and the lime stone. Throw a few trains and tracks in the mix as well. I had to stop. This is weekend material and there is a lot of material.

I just went marching through the caverns and scrapped anything in my way. Bulldozers, Cranes, RR tracks and cars, Limestone, Uranium and anything else laying around. I have no idea what I will end up building but I am certain I have more than enough materials. I just wish I could scrap corpses and Mole Rats for the calcium in their bones and strip their hides for making parchment or furniture. A nice Mole Rat rug would be a nice addition to anyone's Living Room. What? It's no different than having a Bear Skin rug, right?

That would be a lot of marching. I'll be doing the same. Are the dead bodies a permanent feature now?

How many of you guys are running the True Weather mod, and what was the impact on your fps? I am getting around 50 fps avg @ 4K with rare dips below 30.

Nowhere to put the bodies and you can't scrap them so just find a nice spot and start stacking them like fire wood. It would have been nice if they had a bottomless pit in there like in the other quarry.
