Check your Steam game library for FO 4 and look at your hours that you played it. For some reason I am short 100 hours. I was a little over 800 and now I am at 701.

Steam says I have 359 hrs but ingame stats have me lower than that for somme reason. I stopped paying attention. Yes, I know my keyboard is double typing and I am tired of it. Instead of spending hours trying to edit my posts I'll just let everyone see Corsair garbage in action.

I think it was rj or Afterburner that recommended the K70 to me. I am glad I listened to them as when it was working it is one damn fine keyboard but when I sit and think about all of the money I spent shipping it off for RMA replacement I could have just bought a new one as a spare. I am looking at a Cougar Mechanical keyboard as a replacement but the jury is still out on whether to jump ship or give Corsair some more of my money.

I've got a Corsair K90 (I have to have my G keys].  This is both my first Corsair and mechanical keyboard and so far I am liking it very much.  As to longevity?  I guess we will see.  
 
I have yet to do the Constitution mission.  I've come in sight of it numerous times, but I was always involved in another mission and didn't allow my curiousity to side track me.  
 
@MrINeedaShave - Was any of the individuals in that last attack a Legendary or anything?   I think they can not only get bonuses to how tough they are but also they can do extra damage.

I'm still using a G15 and never want to give it up. Too bad Logitech doesn't come out with a G15 Pip Boy.

I'm hoping there is a part 2 where I can get the ship a little closer to the Sea. That's the only reason I haven't demolished the crew a looted the whole ship.  Ha! The only thing I got out of that mission was The Broadsider which I rarely use unless I am really bored. Firing those cannons is a must! I think you can still get onto the Constitution either by Fast Travel or climbing up through the bottom from wherever they crashed. You're the 3rd person today that recommended that G15. I've heard too many complaints about compatibility caused by that LCD screen to I am holding off on trying that one for now.

The G15 is no longer made. For that matter none of the Logitech keyboards with LCD screens are made anymore. I have never had any conflicts with my G15's LCD screen. I run Afterburner and it works great for me.

The Captain awarded me with The Broadsider after I completed the quests to find the required parts and made the necessary repairs for the voyage. I'm not certain if firing the cannons is a requirement or not. It will tell you by annoucing that you have started a 'new quest' with the title in text in the upper left corner. Then it will highllight the switch to fire the cannons. Beware that while you are performing these repairs that Raiders while be boarding the Constitution through the hatch in the bottom of the hull where you first entered. Those robot crewmen are useless in battle so figure you're on your own and have nobody except maybe Cait to rely on for support.

No Cait, just Nick.
 
I imagine that during any of the battle if just one piece of lead reaches out and touches any of the tin cans you're in trouble.

Yes. There were 2 of them but one was armor and the other was a non lead launcher. Weapon usage was no different than any other Legendary. I'll have to keep that in mind the next time I get in a fire fight.
 
@Ducky - Why would I want to shave 54 Whiskers? 

Right, the Legendarys will carry the standard weapons for their class and level.  But just like you after bumping up your rifleman/gunslinger/commando and/or melee perks, they can do more damage with those weapons.
 
 
And I switched from a G15, to a G510 and finally to this K90.   I was a able to get this for a really good sale price, otherwise I wasn't willing at the time to pay nearly 200.00 for a keyboard.  But I also wanted to see if the the mechanical hype had any validity.   Yeah, there is a little something to the hype, but not as much as some would have you think.  I won't revolutionize your typing.  Youre not going to suddenly increase by 50wpm.   One thing that was nice is that there was very little adapting/adjustment moving from the G510 to this.  Usually when I change keyboards it takes longer to get used to the new "feel" of the keyboard.  Even going from the G15 to the G510.

Never thought about the Legendarys advancing in this manner. Well at least not the Raider class. I do know the Gunners advance because the do take a bite out of my armor and they are also harder to kill. 
 
I'm still typing "old school", 2 finger hunt and peck.

I found an interesting fact about shotguns yesterday. I found a Legendary Incendiary Combat Shotgun with a higher damage rating than my Explosive Combat Shotgun and the Explosive one puts that fire breathing shotgun to shame. Explosive shotgun blows arms and legs everywhere while the other one with higher damage only sets them on fire for a few seconds. What a let down.

 
I have the exploding combat shotgun and that is my number 2 weapon. My modified assault rifle is number 1. But there is no finer weapon in close combat than that shotgun. It ALL goes down and I walk away with a little extra jingle in the pocket. And shooting tin cans or Glowing Ones gives me a chuckle when legs and arms go flying but they manage to crawl. "Awww, you poor little (boom boom boom) er smaller piece of garbage. You won't be needing this anymore". LOL

54Whisker - The Legendary critters most definitely level. Otherwise the wouldn't remain even remotely competitive.  
 
Some like the rad roaches are pretty useless.  Radstags can be hit and miss.   Mirelurks can be the same.  Either ridiculously easy or stupid hard (Like a legendary Queen)   Ya know, if you want, I'll import some of my Legendary critters over to your game.  They can make things really exciting, especially in regards to the mutants.  Alright, it's just a couple of more mods, that of course take advantage of other mods.   Things have gotten frustratingly interesting.  Like the mutant encounter I describes several posts back.   And both the raiders and the muties have access to guns that can kill me in a big hurry.  Like one shot for the mutants.

But you're right, that doesn't sound like a switch issue.  Perhaps a static build up, or something glitching in the software.  Are you up to date on firmware?

I wish the NPC companions would stop teleporting around the map. On several occasions yesterday Cait was behind me to my left and suddenly when the bushes moved in front of me to the right I thought it was a Raider or a Trapper and unloaded some Explosive Buckshot right into Cait's head. Oops! I did this to Nick Valentine more than once where he replied, "You have my attention NOW". LOL  Cait just stares at me dumbfounded and is speechless. Of all of the Companions available I would think Cait would at least have something hilarious to say about it but NOOOO!

That is annoying. Nick is by far the biggest offender of this but I have so far managed to not shoot him........... yet.
