whiskers54 That's screwed up. If she started the fight then it should be self defense and the population shouldn't be involved. I think you (bedded her) and broke her heart.
That might be because I really do sleep around whenever I have a chance. LOL I really want to Romance Isabel Cruz in the Mechanist's Lair but I'm not getting anywhere with her. Maybe Cait is giving her the 'Stink-eye' behind my back and scaring her away. Well, if I did sleep with my eternal 'woman scorned' it really wasn't that memorable. I don't remember her and maybe that's why she's mad?
I tried that also when I was running with Caite. No option to romance Isabel so I decided to crawl in bed with her while she was occupying it and immediately got the message it was occupied. Caite had a few choice words about that and I nearly fell out of my chair from laughing.

Cait makes me laugh a lot. I had to get up early today and watch a rerun of one of my favorite shows of all time, "Burn Notice". Cait reminds me so much of Fiona GlenAnne it is downright spooky. I could stare at Gabrielle Anwar all day long and never get tired of it and I would probably never even blink!

That she does. Those one liners are great. Who ever did those did a great job. They should have spread it around to the other companions.

Isabel Cruz sounds so much like Abby from NCIS I was convinced that it was Pauley Perrette doing the voice over but I was wrong. It is someone called Stephanie Lemelin though.

I did a search on her and Wiki shows that she has a long list of voice contribution in the video gaming segment. Wiki does not show anything for Fallout 4 yet. Just found a list of Fallout 4 voice actors. The list is long and Isabel's voice actor is credited to Stephanie Lemelin.

She really does sound a lot like good old Abby though. I never thought to look up the voice actor credits but I was surprised that is was someone other than Paulley Perrette. Stephanie's voice and mannerisms are a dead ringer for Abby on NCIS. Now I ponder whether this was on purpose or just Stephanie doing some improvising on her own. Either way she did a bang up job with Isabel.

Finally finished up Far Harbor. I was pretty much too the point where I was willing to blow the whole island up just to shut everyone up.
I think Im going to have to take a break from the game. While "Fetch n Carry", "Get me X of" and "Kill X" missions are a staple of RPG's, they do get tiresome.

I agree with you about that being 'stuck in a rut' feeling from performing the same old chores again and again. I can't wait for the war between the Minutemen and the BOS so I can see what my Explosive Combat Shotgun does to the face of that buffooon Rhys and see how far the pieces go. I giggle just thinking about his demise.

I had an update download yesterday but was busy with DOOM. Anybody try it since the update installed? I didn't see much listed about fixes but it did mention a few and some new icons for the Workbench. I opened a Workbench at Finch Farm and all of the weapons were missing except for a Legendary Knee Capping Walking Cane and some kind of Legendary Tire Iron. Was this just a glitch or have my settlers expanded business into the Arms Trade? I'd hate to think that my settlers are stealing my weapons from the Workbench behind my back.

I didn't think I would like it after Fallout 3 being a disaster with all of the crashing but it turns out I really do like playing it. It took me a while to get used to the Dialogue scenes that slow down the pace of the game but it lets you make decisions about which direction the story is going to go. Once you get used to what I consider a slower pace it isn't so bad. My favorite game to this day is still Far Cry 4 which was a throw in incentive to buy my GTX-980 video boards. It uses a lot of VRAM so a 2 GB board isn't going to cut the mustard as I found out trying to play using my old EVGA GTX-680 2 GB board. Lots of fun liberating the towers and lighting up areas of the map. The map is huge compared to Fallout 4 and I still like playing it from time to time.

That's what is really cool. You don't need any back story to jump right in to 4. It has it's own story. It's almost better that you don't play the other ones because a lot of the enemies are the same as well as much of the concept. I was always hesitant because I am mostly a run and gun shooter person with puzzles and a good story. This is exactly like that with only a little bit of the "RPG" elements. If you try to do every quest and read all the backstories, it gets a little long but what a great game. I will have to dust it off again when Nuka-world is released.

I was really looking forward to a Far Cry 5 and which location it would be in but when Far Cry Primal was released I was devestated. I really hope they get their heads back into the reality of gaming and come up with a decent release soon. The Gobi desert might be interesting for Far Cry 5. I am really sick of going back in time to places like WWI and the Stone Age.

For me that update took a bit of time to download. More that the usual but the speed was about the same. I don't store weapons in work stations for that very reason. I built containers for them at Home Plate and have not had any issues there. The settlers will scrap your weapons and armor if left in the work station.

I came into FO 3 well after its release. I battled those crashes but couldn't put it down. I saved a lot. Then I stumbled across the "FIX" and I logged in many pleasant hours of killing things. FO 4 gives you many choices and that is part on the reason that this game is so fun.

As I said earlier, it is a fun game. I'd start with the main game and then decide if you want to go further in this game with the DLC.

Most of my weapons are still in Sanctuary but everywhere else the cupboard is bare. I am only putting things in Home Plate from now on. I am missing a double shot legendary Gauss rifle I got in the glowing sea. Even I can't scrap a legendary weapon. What are they doing with them? Feeding them to Synths for lunch??? I left some weapons in the workbenches so they could arm themselves but they're still walking around with them stupid pipe pistols. I'll go around and ask all of my settlers if they want to trade to try and find my legendary weapons I am missing. Then I'll waste the creep that took them. Time to visit all of my settlements and clean them out. I'll take every weapon I find in those workbenches.

Rookie. Started with the original. Only one I haven't played is The Brotherhood of Steel. I really enjoyed FO3 and I really, really enjoyed FO:NV. While I do like playing my way through FO4, it was a bit of a disappointment, largely due to the fact that much of the Fallout lore has been cast aside. I messed about a bit in game today, but didn't even pay attention to the workbench. Im about to unwind for a few blowing up mutants, so Ill look a bit closer.

I went into Sanctuary's Workbench and scrolled to the Weapons panel. Then I hit 'R - Take All' thinking I would just take all of the weapons but nooooooooo! It emptied the whole workbench into my inventory. I think I ended up with 38,000 lbs of 'stuff' on me. Thankfully I made a Save as soon as I entered Sanctuary so I could start over.

Something that I noticed awhile back was a scavenger in one of my settlements. Hovered around the workbench. I worked my way between him and the workbench trying to keep him away from it. After a little time he left. He was already there when I got there. Now I have run into a lot of "scavengers" while exploring. Most were already dead so I looted them. The loot varied. So I have to believe that the "scavenger" is the primary culprit. So I think form this point on, if I run into a live one I'll do a save and then help him/her assume room temp.

I've done that a few times and some of those were not saved prior to that. Good thing for that "junk" button. Made the returning of all that hardware a lot easier.

That's what happens to Rookies. Oh wait, I was that way too. LOL It's part of the learning curve. Knowing which enemy can kill you at the current level that you are at and knowing what enemy you can kill also.

I see many scavengers in my travels and they never really bother me. Sometimes I just blast them for the fun of it. The only unwelcomed guest I have seen in Sanctuary is that roaming trader wench whatever her name is. I wonder how the population would respond to their General and unelected self-appointed Mayor killing a scavenger? I would hate to have to repopulate Sanctuary like I did with that other settlement. Some old hag started moaning when her Brahmin got hit by accident. She whined, "Ahh, it died" and suddenly started shooting at me along with everyone else. There were other Brahmin roaming around. I kept walking away and they kept following me until I finally got mad a laid seige to the whole settlement. Final population was 1 because only ADA stayed loyal to me. Since the last update I notice that whenever I draw my weapon it shimmers as if I was using a Stealth Boy. IDK if it is one of the perks I upgraded doing this or not. I have almost a full set of Legendary Chameleon armor I am carrying but I'm not wearing any of it yet. Glitch maybe?

Since the last update I notice that whenever I draw my weapon it shimmers as if I was using a Stealth Boy. IDK if it is one of the perks I upgraded doing this or not. I have almost a full set of Legendary Chameleon armor I am carrying but I'm not wearing any of it yet. Glitch maybe?
Not necessarily that scavengers bother you on the road but what they might do in a settlement. My personal preference with scavengers is to eliminate them. I don't trust them. LOL That roaming trader that you refer too I believe is Carla. I see her at many settlements to include Bunker Hill at various times. I read that the Legendary Chameleon Armor had some bugs. I don't recall if your problem is one of them but what's to say that it could be tied indirectly to the armor. One way of finding out would be to not carry any of it (store it) and draw your weapon. You may need to reboot the game after you stored it before it will take effect.

Yep, Trashcan Carla. It's coming back to me now. I haven't seen her in a while. The last time was at that diner she visits. Sadly she can't be killed as far as I know or I would have disapatched her to the great beyond long ago.

Didn't someone test this out and confirm that she could? I tried that with that old hag granny and knocked her out of her chair but couldn't kill her. The people didn't like that and let me know about it. Good thing I saved the game before that. LOL
