Greetings everyone,

I have queued up for an EVGA RTX 3070 Ti XC3 and XC3 Ultra. Considering I am not an elite member I figured I have plenty of time to research and ask around on experience current owners have on this video card. I am also wanting to know if anyone has experience with how it ran with a 650W PSU. My current setup is a Ryzen 7 3700X, 32Gb DDR4-3200, M2 SSD, SATA SSD and 7200 RPM hardrive on an ITX motherboard. In fact, the dimensions of case have made it that this EVGA XC3 series is the best RTX 30 series card to fit. Not sure if anyone has asked already and I have searched any feedback is welcome.

I'm running a 5900x and 3070ti ftw3 (both moderately overclocked) also in an itx case on a Corsair SF600 Platinum with no issues at all.

That is encouraging to know. My current PSU is the Corsair CX650 Bronze 80 plus modular. I do like the RTX 3070 Ti FTW3. But the Corsair Obsidian 250D case I have now cannot fit that. So I got to settle for the XC3 or XC3 Ultra which is not an issue as there isn't any way to look through the side anyway without serious modification.

The XC3 card will pull ~280W-290W peak power in my experience.  EVGA's spec is right on the money.  Your experience will depend on the quality of your PSU.  While it isn't top tier, it may be OK.  Test it and see, then go from there.

As long as it simply turns off if it surges then I will be alright and look into options for a 750W PSU. I also need to look into getting a better surge protector that can take higher wattage too. I currently have a Asus Geforce GTX 1080 Ti Turbo that has been fine so far and they claim it requires 220W but according to other charts the GTX 1080 Ti in general can peak at 279W. That could probably apply more to the triple fan models as apposed to blowers though.

3070 XC3 Black is 220w and a good choice for SFF.

3070 Ti's aren't much faster but use much more power, in the 300w range.

Was actually just looking at the Ant Online bundle of the 3070 Black and 5600X.  In stock.

Honestly, if I were to get a bundle I may as well aim for a better graphics card within dimensions that can fit and includes the PSU to handle it. Do those EVGA Ant Miner bundles come with the full warranty and eligible for step up?

    Seems like they do.

I'm only recommending it because it includes the 5600X which might be a nice side grade for gaming due to the improved IPC of the newer CPU.  PSU isn't really great (fine for a 3070) and you're unlikely to get a SFF PSU in a bundle.

OOS anyway, but they do still have a couple 3070 Ti.  IMHO it's not worth putting anything much over 200w in SFF due to the cooling constraints.  If you were going to move to ATX they have a reasonable 3070 Ti FTW3 bundle, card is 310w stock. Maybe about a 10-15% gain from a basic 220w 3070 running warm to a high power 325w 3070 Ti well cooled and OC'd.  They do have an overpriced 3070 Ti XC3 Ultra bundle too, but I don't see the point.

Or you could try to snag a 3070 LHR, they should be going cheap and more available soon.

You sure you are not dissuading me from getting a Geforce RTX 3070 Ti so you move up further in the queue? I kid and appreciate your input. I don't think I will go for that bundle because my PC already has a 650W PSU and the ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard I am using can only support up to Ryzen 3000 series. But I will think more about whether I actually need an RTX 3070 Ti.

Heh, I've got a 3070 Ti FTW3 here I've been playing around with a bit, seems to be a good card.  But not stealing any headlines and only as strong as a good 2080 Ti.  Unfortunately as all the reviews and 3dmark scores show, it's just not that much stronger than a base 3070, for 100w more power.  I'd rather have a cheap reference 3080 or FE, for the price.

Well the Geforce RTX 3080 Ti and 3090 are supposed to be headline stealing. Even though recently they have been doing so for all the wrong reasons. The RTX 3070 Ti seems to be a solid at 1440p with Raytracing and hopefully newer VR titles.
