I've had a few issues with high-end GSkill ram over the last few years, with sticks not being able to hit even the XMP speeds and timings they claim (and in one case that was with three of us trying the same set of sticks in our separate rigs). I went back to Corsair Dominators - they have been consistently reliable, even the fastest ones running at XMP settings with no tweaking and no issues straight off the bat EVERY TIME. They might cost a bit more, but worth every penny imho.
