Evga (original name 艾維克, pronounced Ài wéi kè, sounds like Evga) was founded in July 1999 by 韓泰生 (Tai-Sheng Han) who is still the CEO and who is also known as Andrew Han. 
 
Does the CEO work nowadays mainly in Taiwan or USA?
 
The R&D is done by EVGA Technology Inc. (a subsidiary of Evga, founded in May 2008) in Taiwan (google "EVGA Taiwan Office Visit"), what functions does this leave for the US branch apart from localization, including custom relations & marketing ?
 
K|NGP|N aka Vince Lucido is working in Taipei, Taiwan for Evga to help with the design of awesome Evga Kingpin graphics card series, so there's at least one American involved in the design process :)
