Send the card to me quick while I can slap the ftw3 hydro copper block on while I wait for the kingpin block.. I'll test it and clock it over 2190+ with ease. All about temps.


I wish i could, but i live inTurkey :(

I feel your pain. I've had 2 high-end cards from EVGA (FW3 Ultra and XC Ultra) and both were like yours. Max clocks were 1995-2010MHz. Return it or sell it locally and try again. After 2 cards I gave up on EVGA and went to another brand. My new video card does 2070/8200 at 61C. It's not above average but I'm happy with the OC. It does 2100MHz at 48C. 


All i wanted was that.simple overclock and hit that average 2070mhz.

Also thise hydro coppers or hybrid kits are not available. I can not understand why? Evga.com does not ship internationally. Eu.evga.com only accepts the paypal as payment method and paypal is restricted in Turkey.

There is no solution.I should by the hybrid ftw3 or hydro copper from the beginning but i do not have that courage at the moment.

From what I hear you dont want the hybrid kit as the small 120mm rad isint enough. Maybe retro fit a different aio cooler to the card.

Quick question, and I may have missed this if you have already answered it, but what power supply and cables are you using?

Do you have two separate cables from the power supply to the GPU or is it a single power supply cable with two 8 pins at the GPU?

Quick question, and I may have missed this if you have already answered it, but what power supply and cables are you using?

Do you have two separate cables from the power supply to the GPU or is it a single power supply cable with two 8 pins at the GPU?


I am using two seperate cables from psu to gpu they are all 8 pins and the psu is evga 1200 p2

So there is no way getting those cooling solutions seperately

Their is no other brand closed loop cooler you can buy to make fit on the card?

Until I got to the part about you being in Turkey, I wondered why you didn’t go ahead and spend the extra $150 or so and get the KPE. It seems like it would be a better fit for what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe EVGA would let you return the card and you could pick up the KPE. Other threads have mentioned that it is available at CaseKing but I don’t know if that’s an option for you.

With the 1200p2, you should definitely be able to prove ample power from the PSU. I was just curious if that could be what was limiting you, so thank you for the answer.

I mean, I play old games and my 2x 1080 GTX is the same except the hiccups and stutters in BlackOps (often) and Apex (at times) are totally gone.

If we look at the actual specs, it's a serious beast.  As for the 1.1 thing, that's dynamic but in games, it switches to 3.0.

Can't compare MHz of 2080 to 2080 Ti - totally different GPUs
 
You have a couple other choices that come to mind:
 
1) Make the Room Colder with A/C to see if it helps MHz, open the case & add external house fan to keep it cool as possible
 
2) remove the cooler and replace the TIM.  If the factory TIM was not applied on the entire GPU die - there could be improvement by replacing the TIM



FWIW:  My 2080 Ti will clock higher @ less than 100% Power slider (test in the 90% - 98% range)
 
What are the MHz before you add any + to GPU or RAM ? (no I did not watch the Videos) - what benchmark
