I miss the old Steam sales. The flash sales, IMO, were fun. There was always a sense of suspense, like, "What's gonna be dropped next and by how much?" It's been a while since I actually bought something from Steam, sale or otherwise. GOG has had some pretty good sales, been getting most of my PC games there for a while now.

I normally pick up a couple older titles but really the sales especially on recent titles normally do not impress me much.

Usually, I can get games on better sales from GMG and then activate on Steam. Steam sales have went downhill pretty far over the past couple years (at least).

If I like a game I'll put it on my wish list, then I get notified automatically by email whenever there's a sale on one of those items. Easiest way to catch sales on games you want. :)
