Basically the wifes computer had a critical failure after a recent windows 10 update (lovely). Ended up in a reboot loop. Got her windows restored but now I seem to be missing something? Or I don't know what's going on. How do I install her Epic Games games onto her 2nd HD? It's still recognized in windows, so it doesn't need to be reinstalled. Tho I will say it is empty/wiped for whatever reason (Thanks Microsoft).

Nothing seems to work. Really don't want to have to completely wipe and start over.

Just can't find the install location in the epic games settings menu, or am I missing something?

it seems you can change the install location when installing a new game, for existing games I'm not sure if it'll pick up that there are games already installed. I'd try installing a new game (a smaller one ideally so it doesn't take up much space) and direct it to the location with all the other games. it might pick up the new location.

that's assuming I'm understanding correctly, that the games are still installed on the second drive, but the epic game launcher isn't detecting them after the restore.

here's a youtube video of it, seems if you try to install a game to the same place it already is installed, it just repairs/checks it, instead of deleting and re-downloading it

if the second drive is wiped, reformat before reinstalling.

You can then go to Windows Update page. Off to the left is a link that references something to the effect of, Storage, or how your apps are stored.

When you click on the correct link it will take you to a page that lists how you would like apps and updates to be stored (location). Select the drive you want your Epic games installed. Close out and start the download process.

I had Epic installed on Drive D:   When installing...simply change the install directory to D:\Program Files(x86) and each and every game you install will default there.  Does not effect the performance in any way that I have encountered
