This project is likely to be a next-generation title for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with Crytek's job listing specifically asking for a candidate that will be a "catalyst for pushing quality". While the job listing does not reveal any specific details about Crytek's latest project, the listing does state that they are looking for a person who has a "deep passion for gaming, specifically FPS sandbox games." Why mention FPS sandbox games unless their new project is an FPS sandbox game? Crytek is most famous for their work on the original Far Cry, the Crysis franchise, with the most recent new IP being Hunt: Showdown, a first-person bounty hunting game. At this time, we can only guess at what Crytek's next project will be, but we can safely assume that it is an FPS title. 
 
This sounds interesting but a new game also being brought to PC gaming would be welcome.
