Yeah the photo above looks like circus/clown decorations, whereas the product page and color chips look darker/metallic (and waaaayyyy better overall).
If the colors are this far off from what is advertised, and the only point of the elite model is the coloration, this will be an instant return for me.

The lighting makes a difference, too, but I definitely agree. I wasn't too fond of the blue from the original pics, but it looks wonderful here. Likewise, the red comes off looking more anemic and doesn't appear as metallic. Again, these may look different in hand and under system lighting. I'm awaiting the green which still looks good to me. I hope everyone is happy with their purchases in the end. :) Looks like my order status is now "Approved, Pending Shipment".

Has me concerned as well i wanted the awesome metallic red not pink and washed out red. The light they used was pretty strong so maybe that's the issue.

I pretty bad at photography, so I have experience with weird colors in photos with bad lighting...lol.
Hoping that is the case here.
Anyway, my card has been charged and now "pending shipping".
EVGA bucks were applied as promised.

Yikes, didn't realize the black is going to be metallic black with sparkles in it. I wanted pure black like they showed on the product page.

*Sigh* I canceled my Newegg preorder for $750 and waited 3 weeks for the black FTW3. Can't believe it's sparkly metallic black, basically dark grey. Can't cancel the order now or I'll have to wait even longer.

Can't really judge on real life colours from low quality camera pics. I too hope the black doesn't have sparkles in it like it looks like in that pic. Closer to the render on the product page would be much better. Crossing my fingers in real life it looks better  My order is still sat on "Waiting to Process" but the money was taken weeks ago

My card has been charged full amount and status is now "approved, pending shipment". Original pre-order 3/28 10:30am PST, upgraded first day it was available.

My order status also changed to "Approved, Pending Shipment" Not sure about the red and black .... but, I went with white and it looks just like white to me !!! No complaints. I also really like the green though - looks like Seahawk Green ! Now if the blue were just a darker blue it might be worth going SLI with blue & green FTWs and throwing a "Go Hawks !" on the front of the case.

Still on build to order pending. Card was charged on the day I ordered it though, so I'd say that payment date is not an accurate estimator of when the card will ship.
