sad part is that some people are just mad that they are having to wait so long for the cards they want. They are used to going online an ordering what they want when they want it and now don't like having to wait. Even if evga could put out 500 cards per sku per business day people would be complaining about why it is not more if they have to wait. Yes bulk buying by miners and scalpers suck but with everything that is happening currently it is not surprising what is going on. People are always looking for ways to make money and they found a time that GPU's are a great product to take advantage of.

At least you got the wheel lol. As far as I know, its just for "new" elite members. Those who have been elite got nothing.

Well we at least know where this mystical discount wheel is now. It's only for new elite members I guess. Kinda lame to forget about longtime members with this. 20% discounts are HUGE. Even 10% is real nice.

Yeah, it is a weird decision. Seems like it would be better to reward the long-time customers who have stuck around rather than only the new ones but who knows. I honestly wonder if it was a mistake or oversight, especially at this point in time where they are selling cards for so much less than anyone else.

Just to clarify, My post was intended to console the member that mentioned he never knew about The Wheel not intended as a way to insinuate anything nefarious on anybody.

So, I qualify for elite member (2 purchased products in December) smart money is waiting to register for status when I might actually be close to a purchase on water logged 3898 (or big card of some sort)? Probably don't want to activate it till after my 3060...

Any word on more movement of the 3987? I hope it doesn't lose it's momentum.

Yep, I'm a 9:33:22 on the 3657, a little less than 4 minutes of eternity left to go. I'm really hoping it will happen for us this week.

I checked the whole Elite member thing since I kept hearing about it, googled ''how to become elite member evga'' and it brought me to the EVGA page explaining what it is and what you need to do. I noticed at the bottom of the page that it was saying ''gratz you qualify to become an elite member'', and all my info were filled out already to apply (my name, address, etc). Which I find very weird because the last EVGA product I purchased was like 780ti lol!
 
Anyway I applied and received the confirmation email, and they game me a big wheel I could spin... I spin'd it and got 20% discount on my next purchase (which is cool because it's almost my turn in line for the 3897).
 
I am confused now and got 2 questions:
 
1- How the hell did I qualify???
 
2- I didn't notice what was on the wheel: is 20% discount considered good and I will be able to apply it to my purchase of my 3080 when my turn comes soon?

it's based on forum post count I think.
