4am might get you a 3070 it the MC close to me, if you're lucky and they have a big drop that morning. Folks do a full overnight to get 3080s.
I can't see very many gamers doing this... but the incentive for scalpers to hang out all night is much higher... unfortunately.

I am about to ship the computer I built for my friend to California (From West Virginia) and instead of putting a 3060 in it, she's got a...... GTX 770. I legit had to dig in my parts drawer for it.
This shortage is so dumb. I was gonna move my 1080Ti to my server for Nvidia Game Stream (Have a Shield TV on my TV up stairs) but if I would luck out and find a 3080 I would flat out give her my 1080Ti at this point. I can't even use something like Now In Stock because by the time I get the into the cart on whatever site, it's gone. I'm actually considering pulling the SD Card out of my Raspberry Pi and setting up a Script to buy them that I found on GitHub at this point. I'm just desperate at this point. Sorry for the rambley message, just flat out feel like giving up on finding it at this point.
PS/Edit, Me and her both have the money in the bank to pay a scalper and because of principle we refuse to do so, Well I do, I had to talk her out of it, I told her you shouldn't have to pay more than MSRP for anything just because someone ran around the store and stole things out of your shopping cart, bought it and then turned around and offered to sell it to you for 3-4 times the price.
Microcenter works, they have cards almost every day. There are 3 within few hours drive from WV. Get a hotel, go out at 4-5 am or earlier if you are up for it, and camp out. You have a really good chance to get something at msrp in one shot, worst case take 2 days.

I'm less than 9 hours away on a 3655. I've tired the scammers & scalpers show (aka ebay), got burned, but hopefully evga will come through soon. What a sad state, all I want is a new card so my son can play minecraft with ray tracing. Fingers crossed it will happen soon!

Honestly I would sign up for a 3060 xc3 gaming, might be a month, but that queue has made pretty good progress compared to rest of cards overall

The 3060 queue has come to a halt. I guess since nVidia released the mining driver the miners want the 3060 in their queue now.
When the 3060 queue was moving i thought i would get my notification in April, might be December now.

HolybullThe 3060 queue has come to a halt. I guess since nVidia released the mining driver the miners want the 3060 in their queue now. RTX 3060 was released Feb 25. Driver was released Mar 15. If you singed up for notification between this dates - this will not affect you in any way. If you mean some other( not EVGA) queue directly from Nvidia - it not worth it for miners. Too many restrictions: Win 10( they usually use Linux), at least PCIe x8( they usually use x1 risers), need HDMI monitor emulator.

Yeah, 3060 xc3 gaming saw strong early movement but I think most of those were people who got in while the site was unstable and the store pages weren't up. I expect it to slow down considerably now that it's hitting the point where the pages were active for people to easily hit the Notify Me button.
