I was considering suicide this morning.  It's not about evga drops.  It's more about being a veteran of the Iraq wars.  My brothers treating me badly.  My wife called one of my younger brothers, and made me listen to him.  I don't know why I am sharing this, I guess just to reach out to anyone feeling something like this.

hang in there. Life can have a way of making you think there are no options, nobody to talk to, and no help, but there are always options, usually somebody to talk to (you just have to find them...which is not always easy, but possible) and you'll find that there is help out there. If you're in the US, and my age or older (had friends that went to Iraq, so I'm guessing here), it is not uncommon to have this firmly held belief that therapy is for other people or a sign of weakness or something. That's just our wonderful nation's wonderful history of toxic masculinity at play. People go and get physical exams, bloodwork, dental work, prostate exams when they're older, and all sorts of other medical checkups and tests to make sure you're healthy, but we don't do a great job at remembering to check mental health. Mental health is part of your health, and if that fails, the rest will usually follow, so it is very important! I'm not a therapist or anything (though I do know a couple of them...quite well), and I can without hesitation tell you that everyone can benefit from therapy even if you think you're otherwise healthy. In your case, please go find some help. It's ok. You deserve it and I'm sure there's some level of help available to you wherever you are. Community mental health facilities are in every state I've heard of and can be a good place to start. They can at least help you find resources and hopefully point you in the right direction, or help you themselves. If you're a veteran, you may also have help available to you at the VA, but I don't know a whole lot about that specifically, so I don't want to give you bad information as guesses. While the forums here are mostly friendly, it might not be the best place to get help (unless someone who's been through exactly what you're going through might see your comment and get in touch with you with some advice...it's possible), but you could google a place nearby you to talk to a person in real life who can actually dedicate time to helping you as a professional.
 
Also, they say "time heals all wounds", but it's usually time and coping mechanisms you learn over time. Habits are tough to break and finding coping mechanisms that are healthy (and not destructive) are much easier with the guidance of professionals. We all have things we go through and deal with and most people need some kind of help. It's more than ok to ask for it from the people who know how to help you.
