I saw one individual that responded to me about my time sitting on the EVGA queue.
I have a Microcenter 15 minutes from my house. I could have waited in the line and had a card months ago, but I did not do that because I had 2 people (now 1) in my house that have underlying conditions. While I'd like to have a 3080, I will not put myself in a position that even at the slightest probability might bring Covid in my house.
Therefore, I thank EVGA for bringing the queue on and giving the rest of a decent chance at a card.
Yes, thank you EVGA. I've waited longer than I ever thought to get a card but I appreciate everything EVGA has done to get out front of the scalpers. Even if EVGA's solution is not perfect, it was before almost everyone else and somewhat egalitarian.
This is the thing where the impatience of some people really boils me over. It's been almost a year now of what the heck is going on. Some states have dealt with it differently, but at the end of the day, there are humans involved in putting these cards together in California. I'm guessing they have not loved the risk factor. I think it's fair to be frustrated as consumers, but if I was in someone else's shoes and had to put my health, or more importantly my family's health, at risk to assemble a graphic's card? I have two fingers I would show people. At some point, life has to go on. We can't silo ourselves forever. But we can still be empathetic. And we should be as safe as we can be, especially when it comes to looking out for our families. That's not just our own homes, but the community's homes. I think the folks working not from home at EVGA are definitely part of the community here. Don't grief them. Loved your post, MoJoTuck.

After finally securing funds for an upgrade to rtx 30xx and scouring the internet for buying options this is the most democratic and gamer-friendly preorder system I know of. I for one am spiking my gratitude meter for you guys. Seems everyone is intent on either flipping or slotting their cards into an ASIC without EVER SEEING A FRAME RENDERED. What a waste of elegant machinery!

I updated my sig to show the ID of my sign up to the queue. Hopefully we find enough IDs to correlate it to something.
Also, good progress on the 3897 today!
My closest signup to yours is '2058331','24G-P5-3988-KR','12/14/2020 9:46:01 AM'. I think that puts about 61.5 hours between those two, which would give an average of 292 transactions per hour between the two signups (assuming a by '1' iteration). That's spread at least through all auto-notifies people signed up for, to include GPUs, PSUs, Mobos, etc. That's a lower velocity than when I did a similar exercise between my 1/8 queue and someone's 1/10 queue. Thanks for sharing. If anyone else would like to share their incremental number, request time stamp, and (optionally but helpful) card ID, please do. If you prefer, you can PM me this information instead. I'll use the PM'd information to further fill in gaps, but keep the sender anonymous if that is anyone's preference. It won't be enough to identify where exactly anyone stands, but it could serve to wave caution flags during particular intervals of time. Think of it as a janky Riemann sum. The more info we have, the less janky it gets. This combined with self-reporting of notifies may help further inform people of where they sit in queues and when they are likely to get notified given a SKU drop. It won't be as perfect as a proper queue tracker, but it's another layer of information we can inspect.

Oh it is,absolutely the same email going back to August 2007 with my eVGA account. I am on Brave browser,win 10 x64, but using Edge browser from MS or Opera on a android tablet makes ZERO difference,it only shows a signup for a 3080 FTW3 Black on 10/16/2020 9:45:21 and a signup for a 3080 XC3 Ultra on 10/16/2020 9:45:56 Why is this ?

If the 3080 ftw3 ultra notify queue rn is at 9/20 according to the google doc, how longer will it take to get to 9/27?
My best guess is months from now - definitely not before the price increase (unless that magical production increase appears). :/

Agreed. Double check that it's the same email used. And you can also try reaching out to customer service for help. They won't tell you where you are in the queue, but they may be able to help you straighten things out.

Correct. Enewt summarizes the most recently received report back for each of the SKUs. So hypothetically, it could be past the listed time, but that one is the latest CONFIRMED time where someone reported back. If there is an amount present in parenthesis, that is a calculation of the time moved since the previous update. Hope that helps!

Watched an interesting video yesterday based on using cards for mining how rumors are circling on changing all SKUs to new cards, same capabilities except adding in the anti-Eth mining to all 3000 series across the board. https://youtu.be/j68Tnd0FnRo What my question is, if this happens, what happens to the queues here for people still waiting on their opportunity? For instance I am closest (relatively speaking) to the 3885, but if they are stopping production on that and modifying the SKU in this way, will I be rolled into the new SKU or do I have to fight my way into line again?

Hi, My primary email tied to THIS Acct shows two emails from eVGA confirming a notify for both the cards I listed here in my post from an hour ago(both of which eVGA acknowledges I signed up for on 9:45:16 AM and 9:44:56 AM....) If I try to signup for notify on any other 3080 or 3090, say right now, the pop up window says I already signed up and gives me the exact date and time that I did so for each. I signed up for all the other 3090s and 3080s in mid December, except for the XC3 Ultra 3090,which I did signup for notify today at 5:56 AM EVGA time.

I agree. If it's at least helping SOME people, it's better than any other AIB. Most of us are using this as a backup while we continue our search elsewhere so it's not like us "EVGA fan boys" are JUST sitting around here waiting eternally. Maybe some are, but that's their choice and they can do whatever they want.

They're in the queue because they don't have the time/speed/inclination to race bots or tailgate at Microcenter -- or as a backup for the people who ARE hitting their F5 like a Skinner-box rat -- and EVGA is the only one offering a solution, however unsatisfactory it might feel in practice. If Asus or MSI wants to start a list, I'll be happy to sign my name to it.

Absolutely agreed! Instead of people coming here to complain about how the queues aren't moving and EVGA this and EVGA that, they should be thankful there's anything at all, even if it is just PR. The facts that many people have gotten their cards through this is worth appreciating.

Agreed, also they kept launch MSRP until April which they didn't have to do, even if a lot of us don't receive it by then. I doubt I'll even receive one unless there's a huge drop and I'm only a couple of minutes away.

I got my wife’s 3070 off the waiting list. Hardly a publicity stunt. Sounds more like sour grapes than an actually considered opinion. Oh and I am an EVGA fanboy when it comes to graphic cards, because they consistently make the best. I’m a fanboy of MSI for gaming laptops and of Corsair for their memory and cooling products, for the same reason. Don’t know why people think calling someone a fanboy of anything is an insult.

Correct. Enewt summarizes the most recently received report back for each of the SKUs. So hypothetically, it could be past the listed time, but that one is the latest CONFIRMED time where someone reported back. If there is an amount present in parenthesis, that is a calculation of the time moved since the previous update. Hope that helps!

Just to be crystal clear, the timestamp in the summary is the timestamp of the last reported registration to receive an "invite to purchase" email. It is not the date and time of when that "invite to purchase" email was sent to the registrant. Thanks @TheRealMikeVan for piping up. broadstreet36

I deny NOTHING. I feel your frustration, as I am in the queue with 18 (that's right, EIGHTEEN) products I signed up for, several on launch day, and every single one of them still says "no". It's frustrating, but what is it you're saying that I'm denying? This queue is in addition to other efforts I am making to purchase hardware that is very much instantly sold everywhere within seconds of a restock. Why am I an EVGA fanboy? Why are others fanboys/girls like me? Because EVGA is at least trying. Sure, it might be a publicity winner, but for the folks that have successfully purchased their cards from the queue (and there have been many!) this little "stunt" as you call it, has given them a very tangible benefit of being able to now own a card, at a significantly lower price than where they'd be able to buy it literally anywhere else. So, honest question - WHAT are we in denial about? We all know waiting sucks. We all know the market is rough on everyone right now. I'm trying to find justification and rational for your criticisms here, but I can find none, by any stretch. You have every right to be frustrated with the situation like all of us that are here. None of us deny that. We just appreciate that EVGA is doing something, whether small or large, vs. other manufacturers that are literally doing nothing except raising prices so they can take advantage of current market conditions to make more profit. In that regard, EVGA deserves fans. They have resisted price increases the longest, and increased their prices the least amounts. Feel free to buy another brand. I wish you luck!
