Multiple, multiple months. The 3881 isn't moving very fast in the US and, based on what I have read from BovineGamer (who is tracking the EU Notify Queue and who will have the best insight), the 3881 in the EU is even slower. Sorry I don't have better news.
Takes a deep breath Ah... the famous 3881.... aka the 3080 XC3 Black One of the SKUs I have no movement at all and sadly also one I am queued in. FYI there are 7 "Silent" SKUs in europe from a total of 15. All aircooled cards as the watercooled cards have not been listed yet.

WOOHOO!!! It's FINALLY happened!!!

Hmm just got an offer for the KingPin.
Now that it's real I have to ask "do I really want this card..."
With it being the best binned and not that far off of the price of a 3080 from a scalper... it's very tempting.
Right now I have a 3070; my wife has a 1080 and my son a 1660... so we'd play musical chairs with the cards.
I'd get the King, then sell the 3070 at a reasonable price to recoup my cost... or do musical chairs and sell the 1660. Even the 1660 is worth something these days. Shocking.
*hm* 5 weeks on the forums, 40 posts.... so 5-6 weeks before I can even queue for the King.... oh well, maybe for the 40** series :D
Ok - I'll buy the card and see what I can get for the 1080; it looks like prices for 5 year old cards are insane right now... thanks BitCoin. DLSS is a killer feature.

Any news on the EU queue?
Last week was the best, reports for the 3080, 3070 and the first report for a 3090, only Friday had no movement. This week seemed to start out slow but a fellow soul reported an email for a 3060 Ti FTW. Had internet issues yesterday that prevented me to upload my report, but since it had no new moves it would be useless anyway

Sounds like an opportunity for a massive roshambo tournament. Given the stakes, you might even be able to sell tickets or sell the Zoom broadcast rights to Netflix. Best of luck; it is a tough decision.

Was the associate discount for graphics card always set at 3%? Wasn't it 5% or perhaps was I looking at the wrong category?
It used to be 5%. EVGA lowered it for 2021. I doubt they anticipated that their direct to consumer channel would become such an important part of their business and were trying to recover some margin.

Ah ok thanks Enewt for the confirmation. Shipping (to Canada) may have increased too, so I'm guesstimating approx US $120 increase since December for a 3888/3898. Inflation is strong on this one (or is the term supply meets demand? - I failed economics). Sadly it will now have to be a game time decision on these ones for a go/no-go if evga sets a different price at my notification time.

I know this is an EVGA forum and we're all a part of the EVGA family and fanbase here, but what are your thoughts on the EVGA FTW3 3080 vs the MSI Gaming X Trio 3080? I believe the MSI was cheaper at launch but now those have jumped up to 1k which is more than the EVGA. I was going to give one of them to my friend at/just below cost whenever I am eventually able to get a 3080 FTW3 and I'm trying to decide which one. I was leaning towards keeping the EVGA and make back a hundred (or two if I get one from the queue before the increase) and hopefully being able to register for the step-up program towards a 3080 Ti. The support from EVGA is also better (from what I've heard) but I do really like the look of the MSI and the thermals/factory clock are supposedly better and my case fits it just fine. What are your thoughts?

I would never choose MSI over EVGA, but that is because I am reasonably conservative about tech purchases and want a strong RMA/customer service option should things with my purchase go sideways. YMMV. Good luck with your decision. rsaylors

It's tough. Had I known at the beginning how tough this was going to be (and the price increases, etc. etc.), I think I would have F5ed myself into oblivion. I tried the F5 battles for weeks but ended up with dislocated fingers and being sleep deprived (those early mornings on the west coast are tough for an old dude like me). Here's my reasoning. Assuming you're buying the card for gaming and you've no interest in extreme LN2 overclocking etc... The performance difference between all 3080's is tiny, very very tiny. Therefore performance wise they are interchangeable. - If you don't much care about what happens after your purchase buy the first one you can find at whatever price you can stomach (but don't feed the scalpers, it's bad m'kay)
- If you do care about what happens after your purchase then buy the first one you can from whatever company you trust most that services where you live. In the USA my opinion is that EVGA is by far the best when it comes to service and support after the sale and since I'm in the USA I'm buying EVGA. If I lived somewhere else where another AIB was "better" there then I would buy from that other AIB.

Its kinda funny when you think about how the kingpin is moving faster than both the xc3/ftw 3080 hybrid cards. Its limited batches and literally cost 2k+ lol. Then again, alot less people are in that queue. At least we're dying slowly together in here ._.

Remember me? Probably not. Why would you? I'm the guy who sent his 3080 FTW Ultra (3897) to his nephew (after my queue number was called 2-3 weeks ago) because we built him a computer all day on Christmas (over the phone!) without a video card and I couldn't bear for him to be without a video card for weeks/months while the supply issues resolved. Ha! . . . guess what. . . the one thing I thought that might help me out in getting my own (again) was that my nephew had told me that he too was in the EVGA queues so I could get his card when his turn eventually came. A few days later though, with no news, I showed him how to check his queue status and asked him to check where he was. It turns out. . . the only one he signed up for is the 3888 Hybrid model (I have no idea why, and sadly, it's not one I'd really want). And he's four days back in the queue to boot. So. . . my question: How illegal would it be for me to break into my brother's house and steal back my video card? --H P.S. At least that's one we can scratch off the hybrid queue!

It seems weird that Bestbuy still has the 3663KR
listed as “coming soon “ when other sites like Newegg have been selling them for awhile now
