i've got a question concerning yesterdays 3050 launch. I understand that your actual time is not very relevant. Many other factors are considered. since yesterday was for elite members and today for non elite members, are both groups separate or are they lumped together in tiers to compete for cards.  

They are lumped together from my understanding.

so what is the point of letting elite members have access a day early.

I got in on the XC model auto notify yesterday 15 minutes after it went live but I never got an email Notification confirming it, should I click on it again?

As an aside, if you don't want to check the "my notifies" page, you can also just click on the auto-notify button again -- it won't reset your time, but rather will populate a message that you've already registered.  Best of luck!

I've got a question concerning that glitch that happened on the 11th having to do with the 3080 12gb (4877-kl). many of us were able to get to the auto notify button and have it show up and our My Notifies page. I saw that evga said that they will honor that, but do we have any idea how they will do that?

I don't have specifics...but that early date...will be a tie breaker as previously discussed so...you will be ahead of folks with similar EVGA scores and in the same category of the binary response to have you previously purchased/not purchased a card from the 30 series queues.  So honored...but as a tie breaker just like any other timestamp in the Queue 3.0 process....
 
That is, at least, my understanding.

Under the Queue 3.0 process, the day early means that you have an earlier timestamp which is the tie breaker against folks with the same EVGA Score and in the same category of have previously purchased/have not previous purchased from the 30 series queues. It is not as important as it was under Queue 1.0 and Queue 2.0 when the determinative factor was timestamp.

Have you gotten an email to purchase the RTX 3050? You have to be in the top 300 and should be one of the first to receive an email to purchase.

I didn't register for the 3050.  I am still waiting for the KPE that I registered for more than half a year ago....

I tried joining the 3050 queue both yesterday and today, but its not permitting me because i already have 2 30 series cards on my notify list. Is the 3050 cards apart of the 2.0 queue list, or the new 3.0 queue list? I ask because if its apart of the 3.0 list, why cant I join?

Queue 2.0 and Queue 3.0...in total, no more than two active registrations at a time.  So you will need to drop one of your two existing registrations to sign up for a 3050 registration.

Congratulations and thanks for reporting back.  My understanding is that you are now able to queue for your second active registrations, but it cannot be another 3050.

Did you buy those from the 30 series queues or were they purchased from other sources or "b stock"?

95% of my purchases have been through retail (evga queue, micro center, antonline, shipped from/sold by amazon, best buy). I have no b stock purchases

That's entirely possible. Given EVGA is not known for providing a lot of transparency (we don't know how many score tiers there are or what scores are within any specific tier (I speculate that there is a tier that is entirely for EVGA Score 0)), I seriously doubt that EVGA would ever tell folks "you are in the top 300."  It just isn't their style.

I legit just think EVGA wants to complicate things further just to make it hard for people who actually track their card drops. This way, we can't call them out on cards they obviously don't make for the queue anymore but say the corporate jargon of "Still in production but limited quantity" and you see no drops since launch

Queue Summary Life™ was much simpler under Queue 1.0 or Queue 2.1.  Queue 3.0 life is painful for the summary work.  However, Queue 3.0 will get cards into the hands of the uncarded faster than the prior systems...and that is a worthy goal in my opinion. 
 
That said, it will still be obvious going forward as to which cards will/will not have higher supply volumes and lower demand volumes.

Interesting.  It is quite possible (but maybe not likely) that you are in one tier and stephanemi is in another (i.e., that there is a tier break between EVGA Scores 66 and 62) and that one tier has more registrants than the other (or more early registrants that the other).  Because each tier will get a percentage allocation from each new drop, outcomes like this (a ES62 multiple prior purchaser with a later timestamp gets an invite before an ES66 (in another tier) prior purchaser with an earlier timestamp).  Again, possible...but maybe not likely. 
 
Queue 3.0 is confusing...but hopefully beneficial to the uncarded. 

So some 3050s from the queues are now out in the wild (or at least on UPS trucks en route to members of our EVGA community).  Congratulations to those that received invites to purchase emails today.  Please keep in mind that all tiers will receive an allocated portion of the drop...so both high EVGA Scores and low EVGA scores will report back successful receipt of an "invite to purchase" email, with the reports from the higher EVGA Scores more likely to have a sprinkling of "previous Queue 3.0 purchasers" in the mix...an earlier timestamp is only a tiebreaker within the applicable EVGA Score Tier....
 
In other news, it is weekend time. Remember to get out and about, find your Vitamin D and be present for those in your life...the queues will still be here when you get back. 
 
Oh, and I believe the Olympics start next week...along with Lunar New Year (which may have the delayed effect of slowing gpu shipments to the West in a week or three). I hope they are implementing it in a way that higher tiers always get a percentage allocation which push the timestamp later than the lower tiers. For example, after a drop:
ES100+ at 11AM
ES10+ at 10AM
ES0  at 9AM
It would be painful to see people in ES0 tier with later timestamp getting a card than the people in ES10+ or ES100+ tier with earlier timestamp.

I understand the rationale, but I doubt the system is that sophisticated.  The higher tiers should get a higher percentage allocation, but I would imagine it is is a "fixed" percentage with possibly the EVGA Score range of each tier only changing -- if at all -- with each monthly "snapshot" of the community's EVGA Scores.
