EVGA GeForce RTX 3050 XC BLACK GAMING, 08G-P5-3551-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual-Fan - there wasn't "Auto Notify" button today, but now this page says "Due to high demand, the notify queue sign-up is temporarily disabled. If you have a current queue position, EVGA will continue to process as stock is available.".
EVGA is trolling us!

Use associate code to save 3% on your EVGA GPU purchase! And up to 10% on other products!

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2022/01/27 13:53:12 (permalink)
The 3050 XC Gaming and 3050 XC Gaming Black product pages were launched today. The 3050 XC Gaming (3553) also lit its auto-notify button permitting Elite members to sign up for the queue. The 3050 XC Gaming Black (3551) page does not contain an auto-notify button -- and I doubt that it will any time soon. I think the 3050 XC Gaming Black units are, generally speaking, going to be made available via EVGA's other retail partners (and not via a queue).

Bottom line, if you are looking for a 3050, from the queues, I think you will be limited to the 3050 XC Gaming (3553)...but it is a bit pricier.

Another difference from today's launch (when compared to past 30 series queue launches) is that EVGA did not send out any emails today...in fact, EVGA_JacobF even tweeted about it. This delay by EVGA of sending out invite to purchase emails until to tomorrow indicates to me that EVGA are waiting to include the non-Elite members in the tiers and priority list. Elite vs. non-Elite status is now -- in Queue 3.0 -- just about the tiebreaking timestamp...so it is conceivable that non-Elite accounts that have not previously purchased a 30 series from the queues will be in the mix. I would expect we start to hear reports of invite to purchase emails being sent out to the front of the 3553 queue a little later than is normal...maybe 12 pm noon PT instead of 10:30 am PT (but I hope I am wrong on that front)...and, yes, the initial invites should reach Elites first.

For non-Elites, I would encourage you to prepare for a 6 am PT rush tomorrow seeking to be among the first non-Elites to register in that classification (I assume it will be around 6 am PT tomorrow that the non-Elites are given access...for the Elites, this morning, the button went live approximately 6:05 am).

Have a great night...hopefully not too many F5 keys were broken today.

As of 1:45 pm PT Thursday, January 27, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents that a queue drop has reportedly occurred since the morning of January 27; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from that SKU's prior report*):

* In the absence of information from EVGA about the respective tiers (EVGA score cohorts), the EVGA Queue Summary will report the latest timestamp report received (I'll assume that it comes from a registrant with a superlative EVGA Score (i.e., the highest tier) who has no prior history of buying a 30 series card from the EVGA Queue); Queue 3.0 rows in the summary will not include an "elapsed time" italicized parenthetical.

May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve.

Best of luck!   twene

I don't want to contribute to any mistakes in the list, to clarify my notification was for 12G-P5-3655-KR.  I didn't notice that the model number didn't carry over in the copy paste of my above post.  I used your associate code, and am looking forward to the 3060 goodness :)

Probably lol. Pretty sure that's a dead que.... I'd remove it and make room for upcoming cards, but that's just me.

Yeah. It hasn't moved since the week of August 23, 2021. It hasn't even moved 5 hours past the queue's opening.

If it is not the "Ultra" variant, the lower end "Gaming" and "Black" variants of all skus hardly ever move. I was actually able to get a 3080 xc3 ultra at the end of 2020 but sold it a caselabs friend at cost after I got my 3090 xc3 hybrid

With so little movement on 3090 KP HC queue, I wonder if it would be easier/cheaper for EVGA to offer anyone in that queue the option of a secret Hybrid plus HC kit bundle for the same price.

What a long and interesting day.  The 3050 looks to be a good 1080p card for what is somehow not the worst price, although even 1070s and 2060s keep pace.

I saw my first black model EVGA card in Best Buy 20 years ago and always assumed it was retail only.
But perhaps, it is all just an evil plot ...

Or maybe AIBs just don't make enough to survive on reference models cards underpriced as a "loss leader."

Good luck to the now official 3.0 queue participants.  May you be blessed on FabFriday.

No, just no. EVGA's base series Black cards didn't come around until the 10 series cards, so that was around 2016 at earliest. There was a Titan Black card, but it was the top high end card at the time and it came out in 2014. EVGA's first ever use of Black in the name of the video card was the 8800 GTX and Ultra Black Pearl water cooled cards and that was 15 years ago.

I currently have a timeslot at 6:05 AM PST for the $329 USD version of the RTX-3050 in the queue. Do you all think it'd be wise for me to leave my spot in line whenever the $249 USD version of the RTX-3050 launches and join it's queue? (Or can I do both?)

The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

If $80 is going to stretch you that hard, remove all cards from your notify list. You have other priorities that the money should go to then a gaming video card.

Anyways: That's an excellent time spot.

No, just no. EVGA's base series Black cards didn't come around until the 10 series cards, so that was around 2016 at earliest. {sic}

Thanks for the info.  I bought my first evga card 20 years ago at Best Buy and assumed that the retail versions weren't the same as the internet models available from the start, because I never saw them in BB.
Are you saying it's not an evil plot?

Yes, along with what EVGA has done to the long time loyal Elite Members. No spin the wheel discount like new Elite Members got, changes the queue to push them out of cards they wanted. EVGA has become the everyone gets a trophy company even though they didn't earn it with a lollypop discount until they lost too much money on the lollypop.

I currently have a timeslot at 6:05 AM PST for the $329 USD version of the RTX-3050 in the queue. Do you all think it'd be wise for me to leave my spot in line whenever the $249 USD version of the RTX-3050 launches and join it's queue? (Or can I do both?)

If $80 is going to stretch you that hard, remove all cards from your notify list. You have other priorities that the money should go to then a gaming video card.

Anyways: That's an excellent time spot.

It's a birthday present for myself so I think I can manage an extra $80. Also, I lied I have a 6:06 AM PST slot not 6:05 but it still should be good I think

The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

What about the 3895-KR have that one on que also.

Honestly, this one hasn't been moving either. You could hold onto it for now and just pick up something else in your second slot, let it play out a bit and keep an eye out for other launches that catch your interest but I don't see the 3895 moving again. Also it's a KR card, so I doubt it ever sees movement ever again. Just my 2 cent anyways.

In EU, the button for the second one appeared yesterday around 15-20 min after US, I saw that the notify page for the black one seems to be available, wait and see..
