Resolved; the report was for the 3897, not the 3885.  I will update tonight's summary in a few minutes.

So I take the points are only counted for purchases directly on evga, rather by the history of registered products... from 10xx series I was only buying EVGA with couple of exceptions (Titan XP Star Wars Edition) mostly from stores in EU but that doesn't seem to count for much. I wish EVGA had better presence in EU compared to the US market.

I'm pretty sure it's for registered products. We'll have to see

Points are for registered products, EVGA bucks, ect. It doesn't have to be items purchased directly from EVGA, you just have to be the first registered owner. Please refer to here for the FAQ and some light reading on the new que. Hope this helps.

I only have a Score of 1.

I purchased one product for myself on EVGA.com.  I have registered that product.  I have also purchased 2 products on Amazon and have registered those.  In total, I have 3 registered products on my name.  I was the first person to have all three products.  All three were purchased and registered in 2021 before the cutoff time.

If what you say is true, then my number shouldn't be 1, but it is.

The score system is messed up.

EVGA Score:
The EVGA Score is at the heart of the Queue 3.0 System. This score, in many ways, is designed to reward customer loyalty, customer participation, and customer contribution to EVGA and its Community.
The EVGA Score is comprised of three main factors – EVGA purchases, EVGA Bucks earned, and EVGA Blue Ribbons earned on the EVGA Forum.

EVGA Purchases:

Purchase EVGA products from an authorized reseller to raise your score. The point value for each product depends on the product category and part number of each additional EVGA product you successfully register to your account:

  • VGA:
    • Graphics Card products earn you points based on the GPU model you own.
    • Points increase with newer and higher-end products in the 30 Series, 20 Series, and 16 Series families. 10 Series and older receive a reduced amount of points.
  • PSU:
    • Power Supply products earn you points based on the wattage and efficiency.
    • Points increase with a higher wattage and higher efficiency.
  • Other Products:
    • Motherboards, keyboards and mice, CLC coolers, capture devices, and other product categories all provide various levels of points. Please note that legacy and end-of-life products may not count towards your EVGA Score.
  • Requirements:
    • To earn EVGA points, the product must be purchased through an authorized reseller and registered to the account of the original purchaser.
    • Registered products require an invoice to count for an EVGA Score, unless the product is purchased from EVGA.com.
    • Only six registered products per product category will count. The EVGA Score will automatically select the highest score among registered products.
    • Points from registered products count for three years from the date of purchase.
      • Falsifying your purchase date or place of purchase to improve your EVGA Score may result in your notifications being cancelled and/or purchase order cancelled.
    • If a serial number has been registered multiple times, only the first registered owner who uploads an invoice will receive credit for the product.
    • Recertified products, second-hand products, and products that cannot be verified with a proof-of-purchase will not count towards your EVGA Score.
    • Products received from RMA will not count towards your EVGA Score; instead, the original purchase product will be used towards the EVGA Score.
    • Step-Up products will not count towards your EVGA Score; instead, the card that was stepped-up from will be used towards the EVGA Score.

It says there that it only counts if you register the product within three years of purchase, but EVGA has ALSO clarified that only the last three years count towards this score. I.E. if you purchased something in 2018 and registered it within 3 years of purchase, it would still not count towards your score. That could explain the discrepancy. Another possibility is that even though you purchased on Amazon which is an authorized reseller, perhaps you ended up with one of those third party vendors that list on Amazon. Those, while still being purchased on Amazon, may not count as being from Amazon. When did you purchase and register the aforementioned products and were they sold & shipped by Amazon itself?

At this time it is my understanding that nobody but EVGA knows how many points any item is worth but I could be incorrect (again).

I can tell you that a 3967 is probably worth 12! That's something, at least  But you're right, no one except EVGA can be absolutely certain. Maybe that could be someone's new undertaking: figuring out values (or at least very close guesses) and creating an item (approximate) score sheet.

That could be a fun activity!
And, with "fun" I mean that I would rather have my most private parts sandpapered all day long than having to gather those infos together. But I can't but applaud whoever will ever take the task on their shoulders.

If a person got 1 3090 from newegg and no other item you would know 3090 points legit seller.

if a person got 1 3090 from evga queue and no other you would know 3090 points from queue.

I am not sure someone did exactly 1 piece of gear from evga queue or from newegg

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2022/01/19 09:15:17 (permalink)
I am going to keep the Queue 3.0 Rules and the new Queue 3.0 Forum Thread links in the intro for a day or three for those that haven't heard the news yet. I have also attempted a rough FAQ to try to head off the inevitable questions that will arise as more casual queue followers learn about the new system going forward (constructive feedback is welcome as I was pulling it together while handling family duties and likely botched it up).

Just over 24 hours since Phil saved Bobby (and secured him an extra $100M, assuming the deal closes), I don't think it has truly sunk in how monumental this deal will be. EA, Ubi and Take Two (not to mention WBIE and others) just had their corporate futures materially changed...both from a potential M&A perspective but also from a simple "do we" or "don't we" participate in the Game Pass offering. EA, who is already in the subscription, just lost a tremendous amount of bargaining power for the renewal negotiations. And Sony (down over 12% on the news yesterday (and down again this morning)) doesn't have a clear response....

Another tertiary impact may be that the unionization effort at certain of ATVI's studios and locations may be sidelined...the industry will continue to fight unionization at every turn...and one of the chief motivations -- namely to fight Bobby -- seems to have decided to call in rich and go visit Shane (over the hills and behind the sunset). But that is all in the future...in order to play those games, each of us needs to secure a reasonably current gpu....

Which leads us to today...Calling all Camels...(it isn't a thing, but should be)...let's ride!

Best of luck today!

* In the absence of information from EVGA about the respective tiers (EVGA score cohorts), the EVGA Queue Summary will report the latest timestamp report received (I'll assume that it comes from a registrant with a superlative EVGA Score (i.e., the highest tier) who has no prior history of buying a 30 series card from the EVGA Queue); Queue 3.0 rows in the summary will not include an "elapsed time" italicized parenthetical.

May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve.

Are there any other cards that would work for your system? I don't see the 3070 Black moving materially any time soon. Best of luck!

I swear to god the 3080 FTW3 Ultra better not stop moving yet lol. It's moved quite a bit the last few days and is now literally 3.5 days from when I joined the queue. It's so close I can taste it. Every time I get an email ping I'm hoping it's my notify.

Yep, you can be in no more than 2 queues in any given moment.

Be advised that purchasing a VGA from queue 2.0 will put you further down in queue 3.0 in whatever point group you end up being.

Is Queue currently working for Canada? All GeForce 30 Series Family cards are showing this for me: "Due to high demand, the notify queue sign-up is temporarily disabled." So I can't put myself in queue for some reason.

So I sighed up around July and August last year so I was prob really really late to get in on the hole que thing would that be 2.0 And from my understanding it just will roll into que 3.0 with out haveing to do anything so if am thinking since the 3050 will be a newer card Maybe try to jump on that que early I might have a better chance to get a gpu that way I don’t know I know a 3050 will sure beat my gtx 960 not sure what to do with intel arc around the corner and the proof of stake of ethereum happens this summer maybe gpus will become more relatively available. I waited this long I guess all one can do is wait longer in this situation.

So the queue rules seemed to be a mixed message and someone may correct me if I am wrong. You should still be in the queue 2.0 unless you made any changes after the 3.0 release. Changes such as removing a notify and or adding another card (3050 or 3080 Ti 12Gb model) will automatically move you into the 3.0 queue. I believe if you get moved to 3.0, your timeline will be reset and based upon the points you are assigned. Hope that helps.

All ques are currently closed until they catch up on the current counts and or reopen them (EVGA).

To begin, you can only be que'd for 2 cards. Cards you que'd for in August are the 2.0 system, all later cards/ques on and past 1/11/22 are the 3.0 system. So if you have 2 cards from August, let's say they're both 3080's (10gb) and want a 3050 or the 3080 12gb, then you'll need to remove one of the older cards (3080 10gb) in order to que for the next series. Does that help at all?

    • Step-Up products will not count towards your EVGA Score; instead, the card that was stepped-up from will be used towards the EVGA Score.

it seems that your score is heavily affected by evga purchases, specifically gpus, (and the higher end gpus like the 30 series for sure). i understand other purchases affect the score also. So, someone with a high score has probably purchased at least one of these high ticket items, ex. 30 series gpus. but if they have purchased at least one of the 30 series gpus they are then deprioritized with in their tier. I understand that it might be possible to have a high score based entirely on postings, evga bucks, and blue ribbons. but i would expect that to be the exception and not the rule. Do i have it right so far, or am i totally off base with this.

Just some clarifications re Queue 3.0:

1. Registered EVGA products result in EVGA points.  Only if you purchased a 30 series GPU specifically from the 30 series queue is your account deprioritized for buying a GPU through Queue 3.0 (so somebody that bought an EVGA 30 series from Best Buy and registered it on evga.com is NOT deprioritized but did get EVGA points from registering the product).

2. I don't believe postings result in points. A blue ribbon results in points...but postings -- by themselves -- do not. I don't know how many Blue Ribbons have been issued by EVGA, but I think they are kind of hard to get. I have a grand total of two to my name.

3. The queue is still only one of several ways to secure a 30 series card...so please keep hunting via Best Buy, Micro Center, etc. Just please avoid the scalpers...I hear those folks carry mange.

Best of luck!
