So I have an issue I never encountered before.
I finally got the que to pop last week and the card shipped TODAY. However the tracking number they gave me is invalid on the UPS website. Now on the EVGA website the order says "COMPLETE" and the Order Status says
Order Status: Order Shipping, Pending Pickup from UPS
It literally just shipped today though and I only ordered normal shipping. My real concern is that the tracking number on UPS is invalid. I don't understand.
I finally figured out how to register. Far easier than it used to be. Use MY coupon/Associates code: KFUZFPVZ3FJY14W

the tracking for UPS packages shipped directly from EVGA takes as long as 2 days to update sometimes. but as long as you got your order in by 2pm PST, it will ship out same day

It will only become valid once UPS receives and scans the package. This process isn't new.

With NVIDIA, announce/launch date for a new GPU and the release date, when they are allowed to be sold, are general two separate dates.

Well.... I ordered it after 2 PM on Friday so I had to wait to see it was finally shipped TODAY. I don't know what "Pending UPS pick up" means, and I also don't know why it says "COMPLETED" And not what it had said since friday which was "OPEN" under orders...... It's almost like they're saying it's been delivered already and they're waiting for me to get it at the UPS office....... Which doesn't make sense.

I think we can talk about these cards like they're taking turns on a rocket. Last week, it was K|NGP|N Hybrid (3998)'s turn on the rocket. This week, it is 3070 ti FTW3 Ultra (3797)'s turn.

So if this gets announced tomorrow does that mean that the current 3080 will be discontinued and this will take its place? If this were to occur what would happen to my queue? I just want to make sure that I'm prepared to reserve my spot in line (if EVGA allows) for this card.

Speaking of who's getting what, I also made a spreadsheet which I update every time enewt posts updates as to who got what. Enewt's updates show a "since yesterday" scale of time, the spreadsheet shows a "since the cards came out" scale of time. I even included things at the top to make a linear estimate when someone will receive a card based on their timestamp and SKU. Microsoft Excel mirror Google Sheets mirror

No. Just like when the 3080Ti was announced, the 3080s and the 3090s continued. But, yes, yet another set of skus to further dilute the volume any one particular sku gets allocated.

According to my linear estimate, you will receive your notify on or before 3/17/2022 0:31:41 Meanwhile, the same system tells me that my 3895 (3080 FTW3 Gaming) will arrive in the year 406,573. I signed up for that on 1/21/2021 1:41:36 PM PT. Though I don't need a 3895, I have a 3967 (3080 ti FTW3 Ultra).

EVGA used to be a great company (I've been a customer since early 2005). But after 2017 it went completely downhill. EVGA doesn't treat customers as customers, but as complete idiots! I used to own over 30 EVGA products (videocards, motherboards, PSU's and so on). Not anymore. #evga #pathetic

i removed my notify for the 3897 it's not for me but for my friend.
