Got my notification today, only took ~14 months! I managed to get a card from another source a few months ago, but my cousin still needed one so thankfully I am now able to help him out.

For a long time no one can enter the queues are closed and I do not see them reopening for existing SKUs only when new ones come out.

But even if you could enter, is it worth the wait of 12-14 months, maybe even longer?

The 30 series queues closed back on September 27, 2021. You can still enter the RTX 2060 and GTX queues though

no 3090 hybrid action maybe next week

I asked for the notify back in 2020 on November 22nd, I think from people posting on reddit and asking you to put your info in. Bought for my friend since I've been got a card. Is he allowed to register warranty for it or do I have to do it on my account? Anyway, hope this helps!

I believe they changed the rules on warranty. So I would register it as yours, and if something happens you send it in for him.
Nevermind, as long as you send him your original purchase information he will be fine.

Dang. Unfortunately he's in Cali and I'm in Wisconsin lol. Guess I'd just have to talk to EVGA to get more info. Thanks though! 

I don't think that's correct. Your friend should be able to register a product if it hasn't been registered before.
 
Kind of like if I buy a card from BestBuy....I should be able to register it with EVGA.

What it looks like they changed, is you need a proof of purchase, from the original buyer.
 
Also their extended warranty prices are ridiculous. I think a 5 year was 60.00 something, when I purchased for one for my 3080.

I was not going to purchase it anyway because the 40 series is around the corner, and will be overwhelmingly better than the 30 series at probably the same price or cheaper when they're released, but I just wanted to say: I made the order in 2020 on the EU site, from an EU country, through an EU IP address, confirmed on the EU EVGA website. Yet these cards are NOT available in EU, they do NOT ship them in EU.
