nomoss An estimated 500,000 shipping containers are waiting to be *eventually* unloaded at the port of Los Angeles. Only 81 shopping days until Xmas. Happy Monday!
Unfortunately, I don't think the unloading of those containers will help us. My understanding is that EVGA continues to use air freight rather than risk the high seas. P.S. Thanks for the image. Consistently impressed with your skills....

Hey enewt! Thanks for updates. Wasn’t 3897 latest time stamp already in Oct 07? I think someone posted it couple days ago.

There was one 3897 that was determined to be in error and I had to roll back the 3897 to a more credible timestamp. I have it as less than 18 minutes before hitting 10/7. I try to err on the side of being conservative with the summary so as to not get ahead of the queue and have folks freaking out that they might have been skipped.

Update 10/4/2021 Hello, In an effort to expedite those in queue who are still waiting for a EVGA GeForce RTX 30 Series Card, and to be fair to all EVGA customers, we are making a running change:
- Accounts that have NOT purchased an EVGA 30 series card yet as part of the queue will be prioritized.
- Accounts that have already purchased an EVGA 30 series card in the queue system, will be behind those who have not.
Note: B-Stock (RX) or Step-Up 30 Series products will not affect queue positions. We hope that this update will allow more gamers to get their hands on an EVGA GeForce RTX 30 series card. If there are any questions please contact our support at sales@evga.com. Thanks EVGA
Thanks EVGA_JacobF. This is probably the biggest change to the queues since they were announced a year ago tomorrow. P.S. Do you care to comment on whether you are bringing your drawing instruments to work tomorrow? It is a big anniversary day...?!?

This is something I fully support. I got quite lucky that I signed up for auto-notify before they actually started the queue. Soo I had a card pretty quick. People that have been waiting for a year definitely should be prioritized

I am almost to the card i really wanted. I would have been notified today or tomorrow and now will not get that card. The 3080 i have been waiting for a few days shy of a year. I understand where they are coming from but that is the card i have been most excited to get.

I won the Newegg shuffle a couple weeks ago for a watercooled MSI 3080 but passed on it since it was in a bundle with an SSD I didn't really need for $1400. I have always been partial to EVGA cards, but my queue positions aren't good, best ones are 2 days out with cards stuck on launch day morning times. I'm not desperate to upgrade as my 1080 still works ok and I don't get time to game that much currently, but was it a mistake to pass on the shuffle? They claim the chance to win is 1/100,000 but that really doesn't seem accurate given that I've only been playing 1 month and won something (anecdotally, I know).

EVGA_JacobF, Can you please define prioritize, such as if you have already gotten one (such as I did, but was given to a friend at cost; I was only 2 minutes away from getting my card), how much longer down the queue would that make one? Would the entire rest of the queue be vetted before I get my notification or would you be adding a certain amount of minutes or days to my queue position? If the former, then those in my boat would likely never actually never get our card. How about those that passed on a card's notification as I'm sure there are questions about that. Thanks for any info.

As I read the announcement, self-reported lists of registrants (like that commercial site that was started awhile back) will still have value for folks who have not yet received a card through the queue system. However, those that have previously received a card through the queue system will now appear to be "skipped" in deference to those with later timestamps for that SKU that have not yet purchased a 30 series through the queue. It is a similar issue for timelines (like the daily summary I post) -- it is TBD whether the value to readers of continuing to publish the daily summary will outweigh the confusion caused by the previous-queue purchasers being passed over for later timestamps.... Please let me know if you think my continued efforts on the summary is causing the community more confusion than utility....

Does it mean that all accounts who not purchased EVGA 30 series card should be fulfilled before queue will move for those who have already purchased an EVGA 30 series card?
Yes and no. Your account applies to all part numbers that you signed up for notifications; the queue is processed, however, part number by part number. Assume that you have 4 part numbers on notify. Right now, there are many people in each queue that have not yet purchased a 30 series card. So, if you have purchased a 30 Series product through the queue, right now all of your notifications will be on hold. It will be something like this: Queue 1: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? If yes, then they are prioritized over others in the queue who have purchased at least one product. Queue 2: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? If yes, then they are prioritized over others in the queue who have purchased at least one product. Queue 3: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? If yes, then they are prioritized over others in the queue who have purchased at least one product. Queue 4: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? If yes, then they are prioritized over others in the queue who have purchased at least one product. As we fulfill the queues and people either purchase 30 Series products, drop out of the queue, or fail to purchase when given a notification, one of these queues will open up again to people who have purchased at least one product, so it will look like this: Queue 1: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? If yes, then they are prioritized over others in the queue who have purchased at least one product. Queue 2: Notifies with people that have not purchased a product through the queue? No, begin processing notifications for people who have purchased at least one product. Queue 2, in this example, will begin processing notifications again for everyone, while you will still be waiting for the other queues to clear out of people who haven't yet purchased a card. Now, let's say that you haven't purchased a 30 Series product through the queue. It will look like this to you initially: Queue 1: Remain in order based on date/time stamp with others who have not yet purchased a product through the queue. Queue 2: Remain in order based on date/time stamp with others who have not yet purchased a product through the queue. Queue 3: Remain in order based on date/time stamp with others who have not yet purchased a product through the queue. Queue 4: Remain in order based on date/time stamp with others who have not yet purchased a product through the queue. Once you purchase a card, you will be like the first two examples at the top. This does mean that those of you who have yet to purchase a card but have multiple notifies will need to prioritize which card you really want to buy. Once you buy a card, you will be moved to the lower priority queue for the rest of your notifies. Hopefully, this clarify things a bit.

RIP enewt daily summary. I was thinking this after digesting the announcement. EDIT...I suppose this nukes the 24 hour early sign up for most people as well.

@enewt: I real believe your efforts, time, tears, and s'mores have been very worthwhile and appreciated by the community. I also think that a continuing summary would be beneficial as before, in that it allows card-less members to judge how close they are getting or, unfortunately, possible confirming they are in a dead queue. Your summaries are not confusing, to me, and I thank you for doing them. I had a hunch that something like this was coming.

Yep, instead of being able to help friends and family get cards through my queue spots, we can lose cards to the people out there with multiple accounts looking to scalp them. I know EVGA is trying to do the right thing here, but this somehow seems to be flawed. Oh well, cest la vie, maybe enewt can finally get his well-deserved KP HC... But that will probably go to someone who found out about EVGA in June.

They may as well just reshuffle time stamps for people. i.e. if you've already bought a 30-series, here's your new time stamp. You were October 7th, 2020 on a 3080? well, now you're October 1st, 2021 because someone signed up the day they took the notifies down.

maybee a reduced weekly summary would suffice...but, there will be a lot less activity from all the "regulars" I think new users and longtime lurkers who have practically given up on getting a card through the queue could still benefit

The change shows that EVGA has no basis of reality to the fact that many people gaming the queue have many many many email addresses. So at this point I'm better of registering my non-registered products by creating a new account, getting elite, signing up for the queue, and I'll be ahead of where I was last week.

This is exactly what I was thinking as well. Everyone who purchased any card they could get instead of holding out are now at the back of the line so to speak.
