I doubt it was a real listing.  What I interpret this to be is them prepping the store pages for their release today.  $9999.99 is probably just something they slapped in as a place holder.  I am sure that when the time comes for the bots to buy these cards, they will be more reasonably priced.

Missed out on the cheaper one. No thanks to buying a 3070 for $800 when a pretty much 3090 (3080 Ti) has an MSRP of 1200. So many cards have better value at $800. Hopefully the Newegg queue comes through, but I'm not holding my breath! 
 
$800 just seems like a bad price, but today's market makes it reasonable if you're desperate and can actually buy one. Any card is better than no card, just disappointed that the 3070 Ti isn't a little better. It's not bad if you can get one for $600!

The only reason to buy this at $800 is to step up to something with better value. lol

It has pretty colors but I would likely try to step up to the 3987

TLDR:
You can apply for step up within 90 days of purchase for most new cards.
You pay the difference in MSRP between the card you have and the card u want. You pay taxes and shipping.
Card choices are limited to the top end air cooler of each model. 
You pay when they send u an email saying your step up is ready. You hold on to the card until then.

Jacob said on twitter that they are due to get more of them tomorrow so no more notifications will go out until at least then but also possibly as late as Monday.

Haha that question got answered directly. I get the feeling there are many folks lurking just waiting for the drop posts.

I always have respect for the folks who joined +10 years ago and have under 100 forum posts, shows that you do your talking with your credit card.  I type any old thing that strikes me to try to get to 500 posts.  I want that 4th e in my signature dangit.

I had a grand total of 7 posts until last October, all technical questions about EVGA products.  Then I found this home for increasingly unstable misfits.

I feel the same way. Never really used the forums but been registered for years. Wish I could change my username... 😑

To what? Should we crowd source it in the thread?  We need an activity while we wait for gaming goodness to flow down from Mount EVGA Shipping Department into the valley of our (current) discontent.

Any news on a positive impact that the LHR cards have made during this whole shortage?

I think we are months too soon to have the data to do that post mortem.  They need to measure scalper demand decline over the summer, I would think.  And then extract the impact of the fluctuating crypto prices, consult philipma1957 and then let Jensen's PR team prepare talking points to spin the findings.

Guess you didn't watch the launch announcements... nVidia set the MSRP and everyone is just following it.

I prefer to get 3070 ti . But it all depand on what you needed for.

I purchased an EVGA 3080 from the queue two weeks ago.  There was only the associates code that gave 3% (I used Enewts).  I dont think it was 4%

Oh wait now im seeing other people talk about 10%, 20% discounts - how the heck do you get that and damnit now I feel like a sucker for missing out on a discount when I ordered.

I was perplexed when I saw new members were getting discounts. That's always how it goes no matter the company. New members always get the best perks.

It is how American marketing is taught, current customers are already customers no need to treat.

Metrics for Marketing Hordes is usually Raise site hits, Get more folks signed into our program, create social stuff; thus all the streaming.
So the Hordes get bonuses for meeting the objectives, no bonus for the hordes to keep current customers happy,  so no effort put forth.

Not sure if Europeans work this way or not, but nearly every company in the US does.

If your bonus money is based only on new customers, as everything you make sells out, how much effort do you put into current ones.

Enewt manages folks, provides info that helps keep us much calmer than we would be.
If his was an account it might well range into the 500k area if not more.
Putting in more work on current customers than anyone at EVGA does.

I was late to Elite as it did nothing for me, decided to get it as a Kingpin was looking like a good deal with all the insane prices, got in just as the spin started, got a 10% which was used on a 3060 for a friends daughter, as it looked like it would expire before any other card popped. My 90 was June 1st.
To be honest did not know there was a Spin until I got Elite, many EVGA products but never an issue so never got it.

Have seen many 20s and 40s but I got a 10%.

I agree existing folks should have gotten a spin or a voucher for some %.

I honestly think the LHR cards will have little to no impact.

Hello. I make notification from October 2020 and i had anything in my email until today. What happened. I know a friend of mine that had auto notification a card in November and he take it earlier than me. I think something wrong with system. We talk for the same card

I doubt you were skipped.  I have yet to hear of any verified instance of that happening. What is your timestamp?  You can find it....
