You seemed to have missed the point of what I said.
No point missed. I just prefer to have a productive conversation vs simply saying the problem wont be fixed. However, I 100% agree with you about excluding Elite members post August 2020, at least for the first round of a product launch. It would be nice for members with aging hardware to have a chance to replace their GPU before it fails.......
You are either on the wrong account or your responding to a comment I made to someone else. People are welcome to email EVGA about excluding accounts after sept 2020 but it wont be fixed because they will email you back saying they refuse to do that. Regardless of what requirements would be needed for Uber-elite, EVGA just doesn't want to put forth the effort to oust the bots nor even keep their website running during a launch.

They probably have 5-10 TI and the queue won't move much for months again. Rinse and repeat, we've been there.
I mean, reasonably speaking they have hundreds or thousands of units, but tens or hundreds of thousands already in the queue for them.

Welp. All that optimism I brought with me this morning is gone. It took me over 40 minutes to be able to get through the traffic and site crashes and finally reach the product page. However, it had logged me out for some reason so I couldn't just hit notify.. I then had to fight for another solid TWO HOURS to be able to sign in and get to my spot. What should have been a quick time ended up being an 8:40 time.. RIP guys T_T

Assuming they send out notifies today, we should get an idea of how hollow the first 80-90 minutes were of the "opened" queue. I got my first fill in your info for the auto-notify box at 7:12 PT, but that then errored out for me repeatedly over the course of the next 40 minutes or so. Looks like a decent amount of people started to have luck at 20 after for about 5-7 minutes, then a whole bunch of people started clearing about 7:45 PT.
It leaves a few things to be seen. How many people really did get in under 7.20, and then does it get to the 45s for any of the drops today? If so, that would be a positive thing for most of the times posted (it will still take awhile, but net positive). If the notifies stop before 7:20.. well then. Ask newt for some s'mores, because it's going to be a long time. Good luck ya'll.
The real question, is how many NON-people got in before that.... My guess, a lot. A LOT a lot.
Yea. That's why I caveated it with if you see no notifies before 7:20 the wait will be long.. which is kind of alluding to the fact that the non-humans won the day. We shall see.

I tried to log on starting at 5:50am and couldn't even get into my account until about 8:45am. We are all using the same internet, so if I couldn't even log on for hours I don't see how anyone else could have gotten a time stamp.
Please don't feed trolls. The notify buttons were not even live for the first hour.

That's mybad. I saw one of my responses as the last quote on one of your posts. Sigh.... This process is crazy. Its never been so difficult to give my money to a company before..... Maybe there needs to be a "Super Elite" for those that have purchased multiple series of GPU, and/or purchased motherboards or other products as well.

Not planning to buy all four of them. Anyone see any reviews of comparing compute power between the 3080 Ti and the 3090?
Lots of reviews. About 3-8% slower than the 3090 but perfectly capable for 4K gaming with all the bells and whistles. Only real issue is that it runs HOT, even hotter than the 3090. Definitely recomment getting hybrid kit or waterblock for it.
Dang. I was hoping with HALF the VRAM it would at least run a little cooler ... sad to hear that's not the case! What a disappointment. The only advantage this has over the 3090 would appear to be price, then. But that is a significant advantage, to be sure!

The reason is was such a sh*tshow is because evga was trying to implement a system that further restricts people being able to sign up for the queue on multiple different accounts. This worked and they didn't have time to test it...I'll agree it was a mess but they are at least trying to thin the heard of scalpers
