So, I started my morning today with a household PSA: “Henceforth, within this cozy home, the public performance for the song Empire is banned. Violations of this edict will result in severe consequences. That is all.”  So the context is that I was already jittery and knew that I would have trouble getting to sleep last night…the night before an F5 battle always brings the night terrors…but last night, over dinner, my daughter and I played a “guess that song” competition…and she sang that damn melody. Immediately upon hearing it, I knew I was doomed. I could not get it out of my head all night long….
 
Achieving consciousness this morning, I realized I was already standing, in my underwear in the center of my courtyard, singing that damn refrain over and over again at full volume. My nerves – along of those of my immediate neighbors – are now shot.
 
As an aside, I now know how Napoleon was so consistently victorious in his battles way back when. It involves lots of loud speakers, marine-grade battery packs and solar cells, a $0.99 track download from iTunes, a duct-taped 512 MB click-wheel iPod, and a time machine. His opponents never had a chance.
 
I (expletive deleted) hate that song with all that is left of me after last night.
 
In other news, I will be tracking the K|NGP|N Hydro Copper queue, like I did for the K|NGP|N Hybrid Queue, so if you register for the K|NGP|N HC queue, please post your time in this EVGA forum thread OR send me an EVGA PM (requires at least 10 prior forum posts) – the more data we have, the better it will be as a tool to track the queue. The auto-notify button for the queue should be this link, but do confirm for yourself -- I am using the anticipated (but officially unconfirmed) 3999 part number (note: neither the product page nor notify link should work until approximately 9 am PT). Thanks for reporting back in advance.

djwarrengYes, but the demo model they have been showing doesn't show an OLED display in any of the photos
On K|NGP|N HYBRID GAMING OLED display placed on the back. I don't see reason why  K|NGP|N HYDRO COPPER shouldn't have OLED display - EVGA replaced cooling system placed on the front of the card.

Wow. 3070 FTW3 jumped over 2 days...
a bit of (wishful) thinking: what if evga still drops 3897’s but no one reports it? I hope that’s the case.

Also: am I right in assuming an Ethernet connection (and a 300 Mbps connection) will reduce the time to load the auto-notify and thus lead to a better time?

The backplate is the same as on the Hybrid version and the OLED attaches to it.

Notify page contains relatively small amount of data. I don't think speed really matter(of course as soon it is not a dial-up ).

Hehe. Nah, I wish I had fiber optic, but it’s just copper for me. What about the ping? I get significantly reduced ping on my laptop when connected via Ethernet rather than WiFi. Marginal difference or big enough to effect it?

Wow 2320 price tag. Not that I was surprised though since the original price was 2.1k and factor in the block which is 300 by itself. Save yourself 100 or so buying it together.

Haha ****. KPe hydrocopper costs 2.3K? That’s the price of my entire system! That’s a nope from me. I’ll just wait for 3080ti or hopefully the 3080.
