What’s the current 3897 time? I see mentions of it moving, but I haven’t seen any reports.
All the mentions you see are the "reports" we're waiting on. Looks like it is currently all the way up to about 11:30 AM PT. Let's hope this momentum continues!
Yay! I hope this momentum continues too, but as we know, it’s probably a fluke. If it does though, I’ll be able to finally play VR smoothly. A word of advice: DONT EVER TRY VR ON A LAPTOP EVEN IF IT SAYS ITS THE SAME CARD AS A DESKTOP- this I wish I had known because I tried VR on a 1070 mobile, but had to downscale to 88% res and I still get lag. Now I have a VR Kit waiting to be played because the lag gives me nausea.

If you are eligible to purchase the card but are having issues you should contact EVGA customer support. As long as you meet the requirements to purchase and your info is correct thy can help you if you explain to them what happened. This is a case by case basis but they are strong on customer support so if you live in the US and should contact them as soon as possible to seek their assistance.

aliop1So, how do I collect twitch points? I’ve been 24 hours away from the 3897 queue for about 4 weeks now :/, and i’d much rather enter first day for a 3080 Ti than the 2nd day. This queue has ruined my patience lol Watch their Twitch streams. For each 5 min you'll get 10 points. Also every 15 min you can click on icon near point counter and get additional 50 points. You can even install extension into your browser that will click on this icon for you.
Does anyone know if this works on the mobile app?

Few around here like giving estimates as nobody knows anything about drop cadence and volumes except for EVGA, and they aren't spilling the beans. I am guessing 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra, but your cut and paste didn't transfer over 100%...? And thanks for the kind words; I am glad the summary is helping provide context (and hopefully some comfort). Shuffle is blatantly exploiting the shortage. I would love to see people boycott NE, but it would do no good, the demand is high enough $1500 3070 bundles will fly off the shelves still. I remember only 4-5 months ago, the $625 ASUS Strix 3070 was "insanely priced" and "definitely not worth it". This sort of nonsense from NE is why I continue to defend EVGA and also Best Buy (to a lesser extent).
You'd need to ask scalpers and miners to stop buying cards in order for a boycott to work which would in itself solve the whole problem.

I clicked the link went through the checkout process until I got to a point it said product was out of stock and kicked me out of checkout. I then tried to go back to the email link but it keeps just showing the new MSRP instead of the original and says Quantity 0. Help!

If you are having trouble using the emailed link to checkout, I would recommend the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email. Do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA will get you sorted. Best of luck!

Also, I *attempted* to do the math and to get 5K points you need to watch about 9 streams without missing one. Not much, if you can watch streams in the middle of the day.
I got Elite in 6 streams. It would've been 4 but my mobile data at work has terrible reception and kept reconnecting every minute or so on 2 of the streams so I didn't earn any watch points. I did sub, gift subs, and such and such, so that definitely boosted things. Couldn't watch stream today - 5 seconds of stream followed by 5 min of reconnecting.
