There is no way to move up in the queue. Check a few pages back to see where the current queue position for all cards.

Sorry, it cannot. You would have to let him/her have access to your EVGA account for him to use the emailed purchase link...hopefully you would get your account back after the transaction is completed (I do not recommend this, by the way).

The only way this would work is if your friend got access to the email account that got the email. The link is tied to your email that you registered with and your EVGA account. I don't recommend this unless you really trust this person.

Yes, about five or six minutes from launch time. People knew there would be a queue that time, so many people jumped in right at 9am or as soon as they could after.

Was 39 secs away from the 3888 since January, a couple weeks ago, it dropped to 23 secs, last week, it was down to 4... Has not moved since.

The last time the 3898 dropped was on 4/14. Before that it was early March. That card has been dropping once every 4-6 weeks, so I don't expect it to move again until May. When it does move the queue advances less than one minute on average. Straggler drops add a few seconds, but that's it. I'm about 160 seconds away from a 3898 and I don't expect to see one until July-August. Oh well, we were warned from day 1 that hybrid quantities would be very limited.

My advice to the new people coming to the queues would be to sign up for every card you would or could use within your price range. Each item moves at different rates along with the number of people who signed up for them. The 3060 and the 3080 cards seem to be the most back logged as they are excellent price to performance models. I initially only signed up for one card back in December and now I more than 10. Keep an eye on this forum thread as the queue gets closer to your sign up date as you don't want to miss your notification as well.
The queue system does work, maybe not to everyone's expectation but it does and it allows gamers to get actual product at MSRP. You just need to know you are in a line and the wait is long. Keep looking outside while you wait as well and try other avenues to purchase what you are looking for at the price you can afford/accept.

I realized that I'd never registered my MB, and that it was an Elite-qualifying product.
Once I registered and signed up, I foolishly spun the wheel right away. I got a 30% discount code, but it expires in 90 days and there's no chance that any of my current notifications will come through by then. I could have waited to spin, but then again there's no guarantee what a different spin would have gotten me, so I might have waited and ended up with "free t-shirt."
So it's back to waiting and watching the queue, and hoping something miraculous happens in the next 3 months.
